Touch Screen Gloves & Reviews (13)

Review: I purchased a [redacted] voucher for Touchscreen Gloves from Touchscreen Gloves & Co on November 1. The voucher had a redemption code and instructions on how to redeem the voucher (accessing Touchscreen Gloves & Co's website). I went on their website to redeem the voucher using [redacted]. Their website did not indicate anything about the type of browser to use. The first step in redeeming the voucher was to put in your voucher code, which I did. The next step was to put in your shipping address, which I did. The third step was to choose which color gloves you wanted, which I did. It then took me to a page where it had "recommendations" of additional items to purchase. There was no way to cancel out of those recommendations or even purchase any of those recommendations and move forward (there was no "Continue", "Next", "No Thanks" or any other button/link on the bottom); thus I was unable to complete the redemption process and did not receive the item I purchased. There was no customer service phone number on their website (I did not even know they had a phone number until I initiated this complaint process), but they did have an e-mail address provided, so I e-mailed them on November 5th. The 1st response I received from them was only on November 14th, and that was to simply ask me for my voucher code, which I immediately provided to them. Then, after e-mailing them again on November 20th the next response I received was on November 22nd simply stating that they noticed I had not redeemed the voucher, that I should go on their website using [redacted] and redeem the voucher and that the order will not be shipped until the voucher is redeemed. I tried to ask them why I would have to use one specific browser, and received no reply. I downloaded [redacted] and again attempted to redeem the voucher using [redacted] as suggested and it did not work, it had the same issue. I contacted [redacted] and they confirmed that the website was the issue and that they had received other complaints, but I have still not gotten any proper response from Touchscreen Gloves & Co in the almost month and a half since I initially contacted them. The voucher code for my purchase is [redacted].Desired Settlement: I think they need to provide me with the black gloves that I purchased. If that means contacting me via phone in order to manually redeem the voucher and send me the gloves, so be it. I think their website needs to show their customer service/business phone number instead of relying on just an e-mail address. I think they need to train their customer service reps or get more reps so that it does not take a week to respond and so they can provide a proper response. I would wish that they would be kind enough to provide free gloves/other products or some other compensation for our trouble, but I doubt that they would do anything, as they do not seem responsive and do not seem to care.

Hello Revdex.com,

Review: I placed an order for the [redacted] Touch Gloves that were advertised as "One Size Fits All." When I received the shipment, they were too small for my hands and did not fit comfortably. I have average size hands for a 6 foot, young, male adult, so naturally I was disappointed. I reached out to the company via email considering there is no additional contact information. This began the 15 month fiasco. I was originally promised a full refund including shipping and handling on the original order. That later changed to an exchange for the product because “Management has changed the policy on refunding the customer.” At the time, I was willing to accept an exchange for the product with hopes that the original gloves I received were defective and that the new order will actually fit my hands. I was given instructions on what needed to be mailed. For example, a copy of my receipt, shipping address, name, Paypal email, phone number, etc. I fulfilled all return instructions, including mailing back the original product and paying shipping and handling a second time. I never received any new shipment. I reached out to the same email that I was communicating with prior and asked for an explanation as to why I had not received the shipment. It became one lengthy and frustrating loop. I was constantly treated as if I was bringing this complaint to them for the first time, even though I was emailing the same person, and including all previous conversations in every email. On multiple occasions I would ask for a follow up once I did not receive the product, and they would respond with a “Hello. Sorry for this. I will follow-up on this and make sure that you receive your refund. Kindly provide us with your Paypal email, Full name, and shipping address, so I can easily process this for you. Thank you.” The end result is they NEVER sent me the item and I eventually just gave up!Desired Settlement: Due to the amount of time that has passed I would like a full refund at this point for the original product including the shipping/handling for my returned item.

Review: I ordered 2 touch screen gloves from the company back on November 14th, 2012 on [redacted]. I redeemed them on the 29th of November so waited 3 weeks for delivery before I emailed and asked when my gloves would be shipped. I got a response the next day that they were shipped and would soon receive them. I waited another month & still no gloves. I emailed the company again on Jan 22 and told them I still hadn't received them and they asked for my shipping information to send out another order. I told them at this point I wanted a refund. The gloves were supposed to be for Christmas and we were now going into Feb. They said I had to receive the gloves first, then send them back to get my refund. Sounded very shady, but I sent them my address on Jan 28 so I could receive the gloves and go through that process. STILL not having my products by March, I emailed the company on March 2 asking for verification of shipment. They responded saying the package was undeliverable and needed to resend them a residential address. I was furious, because I knew this was an excuse. They never sent me a verification of shipment and my address IS a residential address. I told them on March 3, I'm tired of playing games & they need to process my refund and I would be contacting Revdex.com since they chose to do bad business. That prompted him, [redacted], to respond quickly saying I would get a refund & to send my email address associated with paypal to process it. I thought this was phony so I contacted paypal to ask how refunds are processed. They did say it was through my email and to ask the company when it would be processed in order to watch for it on my account. So on March 6th, I did just that & sent phillip my email address. He never responded with a date it would be processed only to wait for it. So 2 weeks went by and I still had not got a refund. So I emailed him again on March 22 & asked for date it was processed. He still had no date only he would follow up with financial dept. Needless to say, yes I am still waiting for some kind of refund that the company obvious doesn't care to give me and keeps blowing me off with excuses!

I also contacted [redacted] on Jan 21 to let them know I hadn't received my products after 2 months & being the go through company that processes the payment, I asked them to process my refund. They responded saying I needed to go to seller for a refund. Once [redacted] from Touch screen told me I would get a refund, I immediately went back to LS & forwarded the emails on March 5. I got an email from LS, again telling me they can only go something if they have permission from the company. So again I sent the emails from Touch Screen to LS on March 18th. I never got a response from LS, so I emailed the same emails from the Touch Screen co about processing my refund and that was done today, March 26th.

I am getting no where with LS and Touch Screen Gloves. I still don't have the products I ordered and know they are trying to keep my money by giving me excuse after excuse.Desired Settlement: Touch Screen Gloves need to honor and provide my refund of $18.00 by the end of this week. It's been 4 going on 5 months and this says scam allover it.

Review: I purchased 5 Touch Screen vouchers on November 18, 2012. One pair for myself, and four pairs as Christmas presents. I had no trouble redeeming the vouchers or receiving the product. However, when I received the product I tested it out, and was surprised to find the gloves did not work as promised. The gloves only worked with my iPhone about 50% of the time. I had to angle my finger a certain way or tap a button numerous times before it would respond, and my phone would not respond at all when trying to type with my thumbs while wearing the gloves. Additionally, after only wearing the gloves once some of the grip dots started to fall off.

I called the hotline listed on www.touchscreengloves.co on December 16, 2012, left a message, and did not get a return call. I sent an email on December 18, 2012, explaining my problem and requesting a refund for my voucher amount. I never got a response. I sent a duplicate email on January 8, 2013, and got a response from [redacted] telling me to mail the gloves back to [redacted], and they would issue a refund. I mailed the gloves to the requested address on January 18, 2013. I got a USPS delivery confirmation ([redacted]). I followed up with them on January 29, 2013 to see if the gloves had been received, and did not get a response. I sent a duplicate email on February 9, 2013, and received a response from [redacted] asking for my [redacted] information to issue a refund. I sent him the info and received a response on the 12th that my refund was being issued. On the 20th I send another email requesting a status update, because I never received a refund, and I received a response that he would follow up with their refund department. As of March 1, 2013 I still hadn’t received a refund so I sent another email requesting a status update, and was told the refund would be processed the following week. As of the 13th I hadn’t received a refund and send another email asking how the refund would be processed because I hadn’t received it as of that day. I did not receive a response and sent a duplicate email on the 20th. On the 25th I received the following email:

Best Regards,

I responded that I have been corresponding with the company since January on this issue, and was advised I needed to return the gloves (at my expense), which I did, in order to get a refund. As of April 8, 2013, I have not received a response, a refund or a replacement product. This is an unacceptable that it has taken 4 months of correspondence to get nowhere. I sent subsequent emails on April 17 and that one has not been replied to either.Desired Settlement: Refund as their website states "100% Money Back Guarantee" and that is what I was originally told by the company.

Review: I bought a coupon to use on this company's product and bought a touch screen glove online on January 4th, 2013 as a gift for my boyfriend. A month later he did not get the product, so I reached out to them and they told me the address was not right so asked me for it again. I confirmed it again on 1/28 and waited another 4 weeks. Did not receive the product again so reached out again on 2/22, they told me to confirm the address again and I did that. By March 6th, I reached and asked for tracking # in case it gets lost again and they said, they don't give tracking numbers so asked me to wait again until 3/22. Product did not arrive and I reached out and asked for money back. [redacted] from the company said - they don't offer money back and asked me to wait again for another 2 weeks.

I emailed them on 3/29 and on 4/4 and they did not respond. I reached out via Living social where I bought the coupon from and I was promised it would be resent again and would arrive soon. I gave my address this time, hoping it would get to me. Order placed on 4/22 and I was told it would arrive by 4/30. It still has not come and they refuse to give me tracking number on product every single time. For the last 5 months they have told me they ship it and it gets lost in mail.Desired Settlement: I would really like my money back and a consolation product for the delay and hassle

Review: I ordered two seperate orders of gloves (first order 10 pr, second order 7 pr) through living social network. a total of 17 pr of gloves for $153.00. back in Nov. 2012, I only received the first shipment of 10 and never recieved the second shipment. contacted the company to let them know I was not happy with the product and wanted to return them but had not recieved the second shipment and was advised to wait til I did recieve it to return all together. As of Jan. 23, 2013 had not recieved so I sent the first shipment back to the address they provided [redacted]. I have the tracking # and all the corresponding emails between the company and myself. The last email April 6, 2013 I was told due to purchasing from a daily deal all sales were final and any missing shipments to provide a address.(in one of the emails they asked for my paypal account to get refunded, I placed the order on my [redacted] credit card.) There was no indication that all sales were final. I would not have ordered them in the first place. There website shows 100% gurarntee or your money back (if your gloves dont work with your smart phone or tablet we will refund you your money PLUS let you keep your gloves) If they can honor this but wont refund my money when I gave them the product back. something is wrong here.Desired Settlement: refund

Review: I contacted the company on Dec 15, 2012, informing them that the touchscreen gloves I ordered did not work. I ordered four pairs. Three of them did not work on the iphone, and the fourth pair worked on the blackberry. Additionally, one of those three pairs was delivered to me completely ripped. There was a huge hole in the stitching. As a result, I contacted the company to inform them of my problem. After multiple unanswered calls and e-mails, someone named [redacted] contacted me via e-mail, and asked how I wanted to be redressed. I requested a refund because it was obvious that the gloves did not work on iphones. On January 12, 2012, her email directed me to send the gloves back in. This was in response to my January 10, 2012 e-mail, in which I stated that I did not want more gloves because I wanted a refund. I asked her if I would be able to recoup all of the money I paid for shipping, both the initial shipping to receive the gloves, and the shipping that was required to return them. By the time I got around to sending the gloves back in, I was expecting a phone call or email, or something to at least confirm receipt of the package I mailed. Of course, I got nothing of the sort, so I sent a reply e-mail to [redacted], but it was responded to by someone named [redacted]. He informed me that his company was no longer honoring the money back guarantee that was advertised online. Also, keep in mind that I had spoken to [redacted] prior to this and they suggested that I should try to work it out with the merchant first--which I did. After my unsuccessful attempts, a [redacted] representative told me that there was nothing he or his company could do. I'm not surprised, especially because they are already involved in litigation for shady business practices. In any case, over the course of the last few days, there has been a volley of e-mails between [redacted] and I, in which he keeps telling me that he can't honor the previous grant of a refund that I received from [redacted]. And of course, I keep informing him that I don't want any gloves, and that I only want my money back. I highly doubt that the gloves all of a sudden will work on my iphone. Moreover, I am sick and tired of dealing with him and his company, as this has been dragging on since December, and we're about a week and a half away from May.Desired Settlement: I want to recover the money I spent on the gloves in addition to the money I had to pay for the initial shipping to receive the gloves, as well as the shipping I had to pay to return the gloves.

Review: Ordered a product from the company which notified me that the product had shipped. The product never arrived. The company is extremely difficult to contact. The only response I've received is that the "item has shipped." It has been over a month. When inquiries have been made, any response is sporatic, if answered at all. Still have not received the product.Desired Settlement: Either deliver order as promised or provide a refund.

Hello,

Review: On Nov 5, 2012, I purchased seven vouchers on [redacted] for Touch Screen Gloves at $9 each. On Nov 7, I went on-line to purchase the gloves and paid an additional $20.65 ($2.95 each) to have them shipped to me. On Nov 18, I recieved an email stating that their [redacted] deal was so successful that they were having trouble filling the orders, but that they would be shipping them all in a few weeks. On Jan 8, I emailed them to say I never recieved them. They indicated that they would ship them immediately. On Feb 22, I requested a refund, which they promptly agreed to give me. I have been in contact several times and they still haven't provided me a credit.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the cost of the vouchers, plus the shipping and handling, which totals $83.65.

Review: We ordered these gloves in mid-November and were continually told they were coming, just wait a little longer. Eventually, we had enough and asked for a refund which the company promised. After continually not receiving the promised refund, they said they have changed their mind and are now going to ship the gloves. They were Christmas presents, considering it's April, they are not required any more. They changed their mind and said they would no longer offer a refund. We now have no refund and no gloves.Desired Settlement: Refund of voucher costs & shipping fees

Review: After MANY emails back and forth, the vendor had a delivery problem with their goods and indicated they re-shipped the product (twice). As the weeks went by, they finally promised a refund. It was delayed in their "refund department" and then they determined they would not issue a refund, they would expedite a replacement order. The order did not arrive in the timeframe they promised, and I have no goods and I have no refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the cost of the item and shipping, I would like them to ship the gloves they promised repeatedly, and I would like a letter of apology for lying to me so many times over the past three months.

Review: I have already complained about this company already and I thought it would have been resolved because they said to just request a refund from them BUT they have yet to refund me the money and that was a month ago. I really, really have a problem with this company. I order two pairs of gloves in November haven't received it nor an explanation as to why nor any apology after numerous emails back and forth with "[redacted]" and "[redacted]". And now its taking almost a month and a half to get a refund using paypal??!! Something needs to be done. There are wayyy to many other complaints I have read about this company too. Please Revdex.com give this company a failing grade!Desired Settlement: I would like an apology, I would like my money back ASAP and if possible the gloves I ordered. I think all the hassle that I have been through rectifies that request. By the way, I have all the emails between both myself and their company. So they can not say I havent been more than patient and nice.
