Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below That is fantastic to include all the screen shots from both Discover and emails that I received AFTER my cruise was booked and paid forI have included a screenshot from the cruise and vacation desk website of what it looks like today (**Note: The cruise fare has changed since I booked so it is a bit less expensive and the values are a bit less than what they looked like on the day I booked, however my point is still clear)I agree to the terms on the Discover website that it is fare price only; it is not likely that someone that did not work in the travel industry would understand what NCCF stands for nor is that ever shown anywhere or broken apart on the booking screen as shown in the screenshot that I have attached for your convenienceBased on that screen shot it would be VERY logical for anyone to expect to receive 5% of $Not 5% of some future determined fare any other credit card in the world would pay cashback on the entire purchase price; Discover makes it clear that it is on the cruise fare only but they do not mention anything about some NCCF nor does the cruise and vacation desk mention that either until AFTER you book the cruiseThe fact is that our "fare" was over a thousand dollarsAlso for your convenience I am including the definition of Fare as found via Google: the money a passenger on public transportation has to pay Google didn't find it fit to include and break apart "NCCF" and other parts of it either, they would classify "Fare" as the entire amount we paid to board the ship and the rest was taxesWe appreciate your time, however we would appreciate more a proper resolution Regards, [redacted]

Thank you for promptly sending the complaint you received on our company filed by Mr [redacted] for his upcoming cruise onboard the Carnival Breeze sailing on 9/27/14, booking 2L4QJ The ShopDiscover Program offers a 5% Cashback Bonus (based on the cruise, resort or tour fare portion of the vacation total) to their card members that will be posted to their Discover Card account within 2-billing cycles after their sail dateWhile reviewing Mr [redacted] ' file, we have noticed that he is a repeat customer, and in fact booked under this same program in Please be advised that there have been no modifications or revisions made to the Discover Card program since his last booking with our agency (booking # [redacted] on the Celebrity Solstice departing on 8/12) After further review of this complaint submitted by Mr [redacted] , we have included some screen shots of what a Discover Card customer would see online at www.discovercard.com and our website when they are going through the booking processAlthough we have no jurisdiction over the Discover Card website, I do believe that you'll find that the terms and conditions are clearly stated and visible to the customer Included paper work: Discover Card's website detailing the 5% is based on the cruise fare at the time of departure Cruise & Vacation Desk's homepage notating the 5% Cashback Bonus is based on the cruise, tour or resort fare Confirmation emailed to Mr [redacted] notating that the Cashback Bonus is based on the cruise fare and showing the breakdown of the cabin fare, which includes the NCCF fees determined by the cruise line Invoices emailed to Mr [redacted] detailing the breakdown of the total cruise price and highlighting the 5% Cashback Bonus amount earned Cruise line confirmation showing the breakdown of the total cruise price, including cruise rate, NCCF's (noncommission fare) and taxes, fees and port expenses Copy of email correspondence between Mr [redacted] and our office about his concerns regarding the Cashback Bonus program We hope this explanation along with the included paper work will clarifL the collcerns that Mr [redacted] had about the promotion and look forward to working with him again in the near futurePlease feel free to call our office at [redacted] - ***if any additional information is needed
