We have contacted this member, *** ***, verbally regarding her complaint
Our records show that we have the correct address on file where her statements were sent. However, we obtained copies of the statements and have mailed them to her again. We have advised our member we would be willing to settle the account with her. At this time, we are waiting for her to receive the statements we mailed her and contact us to discuss further and/or negotiate a settlement

Reference complaint ID *** Since submitting this complaint there has been an update to the action taken by the Tower Federal Credit UnionIn Decof I was notified that $4,would be returned to my accountTower gave me no explanation of what prompted this actionThis amount represented the last breach of my account in a series of nineWhile this was a positive and appreciated action on the part of TFCU we have also been informed that the remaining $5,will not be returned to the accountI feel that TFCU’s response to your inquiry demonstrates the road block that organizations like this can impose to limit their liabilityTFCU uses the protection of my privacy to keep from explaining what protocols are in place to protect against nine unauthorized intrusions dating from 7/24/to 8/12/by parties of different banksFurthermore, what evidence exists to support TFCU’s claim that this breach was an isolated incident?Did they investigate every idle account such as mine? From the onset of this problem TFCU has not demonstrated that they had my best interest at heartI have been a member for over years .The account that was breached earned little interest and was used infrequently only for the safeguards of a protection institutionTFCU was quick to note that a sixty day notification clause had transpired and that there could not have been a breach without my complicity (i.eproviding account number and password)While inferring my carelessness I feel that TFCU can avoid recognizing the broader aspects of a more complex scheme that can use other banks to create fraudulent accounts, locate idle accounts and then access and manipulate account transfers to where the money can be easily exited

This response is in regards to your complaint to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com Complaint Number [redacted]) regarding your auto loan with Tower FCU obtained June 11, 2015.
   
I would first like to apologize for the less than positive experience you have encountered with your loan payments. I want to assure you that we have thoroughly researched all activity associated with your auto loan payments since inception of the loan thru October 31, 2016.
   
In the US mail, we have sent you an analysis that shows by month each payment due and the actual payments received for the loan.  This analysis shows that you are behind at the end of October 2016.  We also included in the package copies of each of your monthly statements from July 2015 thru October 2016 so that you may easily reference the activity.
   
If after reviewing this you feel that we have not accounted for all of your payments please contact us so we can discuss this matter with you further.
   
In order to eliminate you receiving collection calls we have moved your due date ahead one month. This gives you the option to make a payment for the past due amount or defer it to the end of the loan term. You do not need to inform us as to your choice. Thus, you only need to make your payments timely and completely going forward.
     
Again, I apology for the confusion. We value you as a member of Tower and appreciate your efforts to make timely loan payments.
