Good Afternoon, I am responding to a letter I received from a complaint by [redacted] - ID [redacted] [redacted] toured our center on 9/3/for a possible infant opening summer of TowerLight Child care offers tours of the center before being put on a waiting list During the tour of the center, each person is informed that I update our openings every few months and when I see that we have a opening, I start to call the people on our waiting list Once it is confirmed an open spot, the family is required to put a non refundable deposit down which is $ Families are told that being on the waiting list does not guarantee a spot in the classroom Families are also informed to contact me every few months to see how the waiting list is processing This lets me know that there is continued interest in our center We currently have families on the waiting ranging from infant to Pre kindergarten age children [redacted] is number on the waiting list [redacted] never contacted me from September until April I received a voice mail from [redacted] informing me that they had their baby and plan on starting in August I called her back and let her know that she was still on the waiting list but we did not have a confirmed spot for her in August and due to the placement and it look like it would not be until spring/summer [redacted] called back and left an angry message She then went on our TowerLight Facebook page and review our center as a star I have not responded to her due to the behavior of her voicemail response and her continued efforts to malign TowerLight good standing with our customers Please let me know if you need anything else for me Thank you, Michelle [redacted] TowerLight Director of Child Care ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because: Ms***'s response does not accurately represent what she told my husband and me during our visit to the facility. She never told us that we were simply on the waiting list - she said we were confirmed at the facility. She also never told us that we would need to continuously contact the facility prior to the birth of our child. Ms*** also misrepresents my attempts to reach her to resolve this issue. Moreover, there is no requirement that I refrain from honestly expressing my dissatisfaction with this facility and this situation. Hopefully my review helps alert others that they may also experience problems with Ms*** and the facility. Finally, I am rejecting this response because Ms*** has made no effort to resolve this situation; instead, she is simply trying to place blame on me, the consumer, for being dissatisfied with the situation she created. Ms*** did not address my request for an apology and an accommodation so that my child can attend the facility as promised

a waiting list.       During the tour of the center, each person is informed that I update our openings every few months and when I see that we have a opening, I start to call the people on our waiting list.  Once it is confirmed an open spot, the family is required to put a non refundable deposit down which is $370.00.  Families are told that being on the waiting list does not guarantee a spot in the classroom.  Families are also informed to contact me every few months to see how the waiting list is processing.  This lets me know that there is continued interest in our center.       We currently have 91 families on the waiting ranging from infant to Pre kindergarten age children.  [redacted]  is number 34 on the waiting list.  [redacted] never contacted me from September until April.  I received a voice mail from [redacted] informing me that they had their baby and plan on starting in August 2016.  I called her back and let her know that she was still on the waiting list but we did not have a confirmed spot for her in August and due to the placement and it look like it would not be until spring/summer 2017.       [redacted] called back and left an angry message.  She then went on our TowerLight Facebook page and review our center as a 1 star.  I have not responded to her due to the behavior of her voicemail response and her continued efforts to malign TowerLight good standing with our customers.       Please let me know if you need anything else for me.       Thank you,       Michelle [redacted]   TowerLight Director of Child Care   ###-###-####
