Mr [redacted] contacted us about the damage to his Dodge Ram, As it is in any buisness, we can NOT just say yes to any one calls us for damages & refunds Or else we would be shooting our selves in the footSaying that, we had to do our due diligence to figure out what happen out there & how did it happen & determine if we were responsible or not, then we can proceed with either being responsible for it & we take care of it OR find out it does not have any thing to do with us & deny it.In this case, it did took a little bit longer time only because Mr [redacted] had taken his truck right away to the dealers for other repairs & took care of the damage tooSo we had to wait till we had a chance to look on the damaged bar & assess the causeWe were finally able to get the bar from the dealership & had the chance to check it out & see how & were it was damagedWe had to go back to AAA for a second opinion which put another extra days for delayAny way, by the end of all that, we took the choice of taking responsibility to the damage with AAA helping out to achieve that goalI did already wrote the check for Mr [redacted] last week & its already been cashed by himMy manager already talked to him & explained the whole situation Mr [redacted] was very understanding & apprecited the phone call & us sending him a full refund for hid damageHe promised my manager to write back to Revdex.com & lift his complain about us.I hope that this letter will find him & he will help us out to remove this complain from our page since every thing was taken care of.Thank you in adance for your help & understanding in this matter

Failure to honor battery warranty sold by them. Car was not starting. Battery was purchased from Towex and was under warranty. Called Towex, but told me had to take it up with ***. After several back and forths with ***, Towex told me to drive the car to them. Drove it to them twice. Each time they kept telling me battery was good and were not going to replace battery. Car would continue to not start so took to dealer to check; they quickly determined car had a bad battery. Paid $199.55 for new battery & installation. Car starts like a charm and have not have starting problems since. Sent letter Dec.2/2015 with receipts and detailed log of situation, requesting reimbursement. No response from Towex. Will be glad to provide complete PDF to BBB.

Towex Towing damaged my vehicle while attempting to tow it They have avoided my phone calls and have not responded to my emails I'm looking for reimbursement of the cost of the repairs completed by the vehicle dealer

Good afternoon,
I am very sorry for taking this long to respond to this, I was out of the office for couple of weeks & I was very backed up with paper work & office tasks that was piling up for that period.
To start with this complaint, We are a Towing company that is contracted with [redacted]...

& we have to go by their rules & regulations. Mr. [redacted] used to be [redacted] member a couple of years ago as I remember right & during that time he called [redacted] for service & [redacted] contract station Battery technician went & serviced him (looks like he purchased a battery) for $ 107.66.  [redacted] batteries usually carry 3 years FREE replacement & another 3 years PRORATED ( IF THE BATTERY TEST INDICATES ITS A BAD BATTERY & NEEDS REPLACEMENT ) so we as a contractor can be refunded our money from [redacted]. Meaning we cannot just go and replace any battery only because the member wants his battery to be changed, OR we would be losing money out of pocket left & right.
Saying all this, looks like Mr. [redacted] cancelled his membership with [redacted] before he started experiencing problems with his car, according to [redacted]’s rules & regulations, we cannot go to the member anymore because he cancelled his membership, But, he has to come to us to be serviced because we will not get paid for our trip going to him anymore. That explains the 1st part of him calling [redacted] & been instructed to come to us.
Mr. [redacted] came & visited us indicating that he started experiencing some issues with his battery, so we put one of our technicians to work right away, he tested the battery, battery test came up as ( CHARGE & RETEST ) meaning that the battery was drained for any reason ( could be that he left lights on or a loose wire or any other reason ) so the battery needs to be charged & retested back when its fully charged. Our technician jump started his car & told him to drive it for the next couple of days & come back later to retest the battery, Unfortunately it looked like Mr. [redacted]’s car started working just fine again & did not come back to be retested,
He came back about a week later saying that he had problem starting the car again that morning, so some how he managed to start it & he drove to us & he turned his car OFF when he got here. We started talking again then I personally asked him to try start it NOW which he did & his car started right away without any hesitation. We tried that a couple of times & we got the same result. From our experience, I did advised Mr. [redacted] to go to his mechanic to check his electrical circuit because looks like there was a leak somewhere that was draining the battery & I told him IF your mechanic can test the battery & give us a FAIL test then & only will I be able to replace the battery for him.
Again looks like Mr. [redacted] went to the dealership ( the most expensive mechanic ) & looks like they sold him another battery for $ 199.55
When Mr. [redacted] did not come back to us , I thought that everything was done & his mechanic was able to solve his problem, till I received a letter from him indicating that he went to the dealership & they sold him another battery & was seeking his money back ( $199.55 ) that he paid to the dealership. I from my side and in good faith did forwarded his letter to my [redacted] Supervisor asking for help to resolve the problem. As Mr. [redacted] indicated on his update on 3/2/2016 that he already received a check from [redacted] ( $ 107.66 ) as a full reimbursement for the [redacted] battery that he paid us.
So I think we as TOWEX & [redacted] have done all what we can to help Mr. [redacted]
