Review: I had my road side services listed with this site, for service within a 30 mile radius. I had 3 calls within a 2 week period that were 50-164 miles from our location, service was not completed because it was not within our service area. Towing Near You charged our company account $14.00 per call. I disputed the first call and never received a resolution, I then called and requested that they close my account completely, therefore there would not be a chance of further charges. I was told that despite the fact that the request was outside of our service area their job is simply to supply leads, it did not matter where it was if the call seemed to originate from within the 30 mile radius. I explained that other people had called from locations other then where the vehicle was located and they said they could not control the callers activity and it was not their issue. They then cancelled my account and charged my credit card the sum of $42.00 that I was disputing. When I noticed this charge (a half an hour after speaking to them), I called them back again and was told I had to pay the fee to cancel my account. I told them I felt that those charges needed to be reversed and was told the charges were just and would remain. Considering that I launched both a verbal and written dispute of charges I feel that charging my credit card to cancel account should have been discussed with me or charges should have been dealt with prior to cancellation. These charges where NOT authorized by myself or anyone else in this office. Desired Settlement: I want these charges refunded to my credit card.

I also would like to see there policies reviewed so that their clients do not get charged unnecessarily.

Review: When I first started using Towingnearyou.com things were ok, as time went on I started receiving calls OUTSIDE our service area, I was charged $14.00 each for those calls. I tried to dispute OVER 16 of those- to no luck. Calls were coming in from cities 40-80 miles away, our service area was 15-20. I refuse to pay for calls I DID NOT TAKE OR BOOK. My debit card on file was changed as this was happening, I have received multiple calls from them about this- I explained the disputes each time to no luck. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. If the people who are listening to the disputed call log CAN NOT READ A MAP, maybe they should not be in the position they are in. As of today, I was charged $588.00 FOR SERVICES I DID NOT BOOK. This is going to be disputed with my bank.Desired Settlement: I want an explanation IN WRITING of why this can't be resolved.

I used TowingNearYou.com for about six months. At the time, I thought that the rates were reasonable, and the system worked. However, about two months in, I realized that they indeed lied about their plans. You are charged for EVERY call that comes through their system, even if they do not want your service or it isn't a legitimate call. When your bill is due (that happens when you owe $250, which doesn't take long at all) they immediately turn off your service and call you relentlessly until every last penny is paid. They will swear at you and treat you like the sm of the earth until they get paid. Unless you love being treated like a second-class citizen, DO NOT use this company.

Review: [redacted] is an advertisement company for tow truck companies. I called in november 2013 to cancel the service. there is no contract and customers can cancel whenever they want. it is now february and they are still charging me. I have called numerous times and have gotten no where. I have spoken to [redacted] who was very rude and disrespectful. I have also spoken to [redacted] who was also useless and asked to speak to the [redacted] countless times, his name is [redacted] and all they did was give me excuses like he's out to lunch, he's on the phone or he's not in the office I have also left several messages and never received a call back from him. they have made charges on 11/**/13 for $126.00, 12/**/13 for $112.00, 1/**/14 for $210.00, and 2/**/14 for $126.00 a total of $574.00 total.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the months that I was charged when my account should have been canceled and my account with this business terminated.

Caution do not do business with this company. My tow company placed an ad with this company we got phone calls from customers out of state where we were not even listed also got calls from customers for Service that was not related to Towing, with this company you give them authorization to charge your credit card for services, we were charged hundreds of dollars for Service we didn't render, it was a nightmare disputing the charges on my credit card, never again would I trust a company like this
