January 2016, my Ford Explorer Sport Trac was towed by Towmator Towing to their shop for repairI only planned to have my vehicle there for a week but because of my illness it stayed there almost a monthThe owner Joe was very patient and understandingI called several time to updated him on my status and he didn't pressure me or charge me an outrageous rate for the storageHe allowed me to get well and come pick up my vehicleThis is the type of business that I recommend because sometime things happen in life that we don't have control over but because of Towmator's kindness I was able to get my truck and its running great nowAwesome customer service!!!!
The absolute WORST towing company. My car has been smoking and leaking fluid which needed to be towed to a shop before they closed at 6. A service order was put in by my insurance company by 3:30 with an ETA of 4:30. Time rolls around and they are not there, it is now nearly 6 and I call frustrated in the cold. The "supervisor" was very rude and hung up on me. I asked when he will be arriving and he said he didn't know. I asked for a timeframe to see if I should call someone else, he basically cussed me out and hung up. AVOID AT ALL COST. Call [redacted], they got my car within in hour even being in McCalla when I am located in Vestavia Hills. Don't rely on these shady people to get anything done for you. Will not bring my business or anyone friend/family.

My Onstar called
TOWMATOR TOWING SERVICE to tow my car at 720 after almost 3 hours. They told me 15 more mins. I had lost it at this point. I called [redacted] myself. [redacted] told me 15 min and his guys were there. I understand TOWMATOR had a bad night but I have two kid they was passed bed time with no care about me having to wait for so long. My Onstar called me back she if I was ok. I told My Onstar people I called someone myself bc they still haven't shown up. I asked Onstar to NEVER NEVER NEVER us this company for ANYONE IN THE STATE OF ALABAMA EVER EVER AGAIN. Thank you so much [redacted].
