Dear Sirs:This contract was between Town & Country Auction & [redacted] Most of the items were sold in December and January When [redacted] called me in February I had told him that I would get the check out as soon as I could My husband has Parkinsons Disease and had been having bad reactions to his medications and I had been under a lot of stress from work and health related issues myself He seemed to be very understanding of my situation The first check dated March 10th was cashed and the remaining check was sent to the same address that was requested by [redacted] ( [redacted] **) check no [redacted] dated April 7th I had wondered why it wasn't cashedIf they didn't receive it, please let me knowI hope this clears this matter up and I do apologize for this problem Kathy M***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Received response from consstating that issue has been resolved and he has received his check

I have received your letter this week (dated Dec. 28, 2015) postmarked 2/01/2016, regarding your account no.  [redacted]. In regard to this matter, the check was picked up or mailed on 12/19/2015. The...

check number was [redacted] in the amount of $19.00 and I (Kathleen Moak, co-owner) personally made the check out. The check was cashed by [redacted] National Bank on January 4th, 2016. I usually try to call back people with any problems they might have, but in our business, we are always unloading trucks, or picking up consignments in various houses for banks, individuals, etc. Also, a good portion of messages that we receive are garbled (because of cell phones) and I cannot always respond.  I do, however, apologize for this inconvenience to the individual, if that was the case. Sharon doesn't always respond to these individuals, as she is doing the pick-ups because we have had to decrease our personnel due to economic reasons. The date of Dec. 22nd when this person tried to contact me, we were closed for the holidays. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at ###-###-####. I usually try to pay within a couple of weeks.  It isn't always a given, as a lot of time is spent setting up auctions, picking up merchandise for people, people taking time off, etc.  We have had 2 deaths in our family to deal with in the past few weeks and we have done the best that we...

could.  I am dealing with that, or trying to, and a husband with advanced Parkinsons, and running the business too.  I am sorry he had to wait a couple of weeks, but  that is what has happened.  There are just 3 of us working full time and I am not able to hire more help.  Bookkeeping is done by myself.    As the check will be send out today, I hope he understands that with the large amount of merchandise we get infused with in the spring, it does sometimes take a few weeks.  Thank you.Tell us why here...

vacation.  The last two weeks of August, we had no Saturday auctions, thus checks for the preceding week would be caught up when the next week came up.  I was, however, answering the phone, unless we were outside unloading trucks or otherwise busy.  I don't know what she means by she couldn't get ahold of us.  I answer all messages also.
