Review: On March 29, 2013, I entered into a contract with Town & Country Property management to manage my cabin in Libby, MT. I paid a deposit of $125 which was not credited to my account. Per the contract T & C was to collect $400 ($100 per month for 1st 4 months) for an operating reserve. T&C continued to collect this amount for 6 months. The Tenant became very ill after 6 months of his one year lease so I suggested to T&C to offer him a "buyout" of the contract for humanitarian reasons. T&C's idea of a buyout was to collect $1800 (Nov/Dec rent) from the tenant, a deducted their SECOND 6 months fee and senD me a final check of only $256.00 -- WITH NO EXPLANATION. Additionally our contract called for "cleaning service 6x per year at approx. $100 each. T&C paid a cleaner $150, & refused to provide invoices. I requested an invoice for a $50 payment to Western Maintenance, but T&C refused to provide the invoice or describe the service. I have repeatly requested return of my keys and a final account statement, since mid-Nov. Employee [redacted] advised me she would send the keys, and a release from contract. To date none has been received. The attached letter details more of my complaints. Everytime I would give instructions, Zach would do something else. I am a disabled veteran (honorable discharge -- not retired) and this issue has caused me severe emotional and financial distress.Desired Settlement: Refund of $525.00, return of my keys and written acknowledgement of release from contract.
