We purchased a brand new Ford Explorer in March In April we returned to have running boards put on the carWhile it was up on the bay we went to take a look at the work and noticed an extreme amount of rust on the muffler and exhaust pipesThe service manager there at the time said it was nothing to worry about and he has never seen rust eat thru a mufflerWe took it home and told our neighbor about itHe went to look under the car and takes a picture of the BRACKET that is holding up the muffler and exhaust system and it was completely corroded with so much rust on itWe went back to the dealership and spoke to one of the GenManagers He along with the service dept manager took at look at it and agreed it was in bad shape and told us those parts would be ordered and replaced Being worried that there could be other rust damage we are not seeing we hired Lemon BustersThey took numerous pictures and the report said it had excessive rust and salt accumalationThe pictu

I traded in my Ford Expedition that was purchased at Southway Ford to a GMC dealership The dealer sent the payoff check to Southway Ford as instructed Southway Ford held the check for over months not paying off the vehicle which required me to keep paying on it the entire time or face penalties and a negative credit impact despite the fact that it was no longer my vehicle I called them multiple times asking them to process the payoff check to no avail Finally after multiple complaints from both myself and the GMC dealership, Southway processed the payoff check from GMC I was informed by my salesperson at Southway that I'd receive back the payments that I made after trading it in once the check was processed since it was made out for the original payoff amount at the time of trade-in I was told that my continued payments would create an overage which would be returned to me It's been over months and I still have not received my payments back from Southway When I

A vehicle was purchased on Feb 10th a super duty I traded in a vehicle and gave a depositfollowing day check engine light turned on vehicle was taken to the dealer and supposedly was fixed

My experience with Southway Ford has been very regretfulThey claim to be a volume dealer, and have no doubt, you are on an assembly lineIt may be a fast-moving assembly line, but you are one of many on what feels like a slow-moving trainOnce you do finally make your way to the finance department you will be hounded by the finance manager to purchase premium levels of extended service and care plans along with many other options ranging from wheel protection to theft protection and everything in betweenThe constant nagging and sales pitching will continue for the entire length of your time with the finance department, and you will be told that if you decided to cancel you may do so at any time, so no risk if you change your mindIf you do succumb to the continuous badgering you will find that no paperwork, with the exception of your contract, is provided to help you understand what you have just been convinced to purchaseIf you do decide to cancel any of the extended add-ons
