I apologize for not meeting your expectationsAfter helping two other customers on June 12, 2017, I arrived to help youI am friendly, honest and even-tempered and I never "swore" at youI am not a swearing manI am not obliged to give an Angie's List discount when no coupon has been presented to meYou know you would have been without the use of your kitchen sink had I not continued so I prepared a written quote in advance of replacing the faucet and you authorized the work for the price quoted in writing by signing the contractThen when I had removed the old faucet you changed your mindI, without anger or threats, explained you would be without the use of your kitchen sink and you agreed to my finishing the workFrom that point till you paid me was about minutesPlease recant your maliciously slanderous statements and implications that I "swore" at you and that I threatened youI did not! We have helped thousands of people over the last plus years and they are happy with our work and our pricesWe earned the Angie's List Super Service Award in and again in We provide excellence in workmanship and service and look forward to helping you againSincerely, Nelson W [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: When I called him, I asked what the cost for A/C start up was and he said 129 WITHOUT [redacted] ***. I told him I was looking at [redacted] and said its the same price when he asked how I had heard of him. Because the price was the same, I did not buy the [redacted] ***. He told be 129 PLUS parts ONLY. He came out to my house and was working on the A/C when I arrived. I arrived (with witnesses) and introduced myself. He said nothing about his rate, his concerns about the roof or extra prices. He asked if I wanted pads and belt- I agreed. I later asked for an itemized rec'pt. He is charging travel of 2.40 per minute- WHICH HE DID NOT MENTION. AND is charging His hourly rate is 145/hr.- WHICH he did not disclose again. It was not until later after talking to several A/C repairmen and the quote of 65-85 hour. They work on similar roofs as well. I am willing to put an end to this by paying 300 total, which will cover parts and price he quoted me plus extra just to be done with this already. I know I can take this to small claims court, District attorney after talking to the other A/C repair men. installation It is for basic service onlyThe cooler needed new pads, water tubing, float valve, V-belt, V-belt tensioning, re-installation of distribution tubes that had come out, rerouting of the water tubing twenty plus feet away due to a burst hydrant at the house (which she did not ask to have repaired)And the cooler is on a very steep pitched roof so every move was dangerousOSHA would require harness and ropes for protection It takes more time to do tasks such as these in this situation I worked as efficiently as I couldI did tell her the belt needed replacing and I think I told her it needed new pads She hired me to get her cooler operationalShe said okay about the belt and pads so I assumed it was okay to do what was needed I charged for the trip, materials stocked on our truck and delivered to her home and three hours work on the jobThe cooler was cooling the house down nicely when I was doneShe accepted the work and signed the invoice which included a detailed description of the work I did and she wrote us a check Several days later I received notice from my bank she stopped payment on the checkTwo days ago I saw the Revdex.com notice of her complaint I provided excellent work when I said I would and charged her the same as I would have charged anyone else for the same workShe still owes me $567.46.Sincerely,*** ***
