Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The purpose of this compliant to receive a resolution in the from of a refund. It is not to assign blame, but to bring awareness to the practices of Energy Rich Coaching/Business Miracles business that led to my experience of feeling mislead. I have never had any conversations with the owner, Heather Dominick -K[redacted]. I have had conversation with one of her trained coaches.I contacted the Business Miracles coaching program. Contacting the company is the first step in order to get information. I wanted information about the Miracle Business coaching program only. It's their business practice to set time aside (60-90 minutes) to speak to potential clients and discuss the program over the phone. Their investment of 3 hours is little compared to what is charged for the program. The price is imbedded in the cost of the program.Coaches must have genuine care for people, not marketing strategies in the back of their minds on how to hook people into a program and close a deal. The 3 hours spent with a client is a minimum amount of time to build trust and rapport. That time needs to be used productively, not in creating a script of how great the company is or it's founder, not in leading clients into false assumptions and not into gaining personal sensitive information about the client to use as another marketing tool for the companies financial gain. Instead, let the client have experience of the program for a month. Be truthful, is it a fit?In fact, part of the 3 hours time would have been much better served, explaining the main foundation in which the business runs, which is the agreement. It is through the agreement that the company controls the client and their financial investment. It is through the agreement that the company claims no responsibility for what they say or do, yet they claim the right to a client's money. The failure to disclose the details and invest the time in the importance of this document, in the coaching conversations, considering it is business coaching program, breeds distrust.I feel embarrassed and ashamed for having trusted the coach and this business, thinking they had my best interest at heart. I has open and honest. Revealing personal information, believing the coach was sincere too. Our conversations were a strong foundation built on true trust, or so I thought. I believed the words of the coach, and her assurances. Looking back, there was some sincerity, but it was lost in the pressure to enroll me and close the deal.I agreed to the program of business coaching, as discussed with the coach. Coaching conversations is the core method used to introduce potential clients to a coaching program. Energy Rich Coaching/Business Miracles used coaching conversations to build rapport and trust with me, it is the coaching/enrollment technique used to entice me into the program, the coaching conversations are more valid than the agreement. The agreement was not mentioned or not given importance, it was sent to me as a the next logistical step, a formality to get started in the program. I trusted that the coach was revealing all the pertinent information during our conversations. With regards to payment, the charges for this program are still under dispute. I did not tell the coach to charge the full amount on my credit card. I had to check my finances. I was going to pay by check. The sum of 5,000 is a lot for me to handle. This charge was done automatically and in error and perhaps something was missed. I believed client services would contact me for the remainder of the balance around January [redacted]. I did not get the chance to tell them that I closed my business and their services were not necessary.I was not fully informed. I cannot speak to the company's complete philosophy, only the parts I gathered from speaking with the coach and the content within their program. The Business Miracles program is based on the metaphysical text A Course in Miracles. I am uncomfortable with the text being used as a resource in this program. The more I suppressed this discomfort, the more I realized I could not be a part of this program. The program and I were not a match. With regards to the content of marketing and selling skills, there are many marketing and selling practices that are considered acceptable, but if looked at with deeper integrity, they are misleading. A coach is making a personal connection and building trust, that connection is not to be violated for the sake of selling or financial profit. Just because you can sell ice to an Eskimo, does not mean you should. For me, the appropriate ethical resolution is to receive a refund.

In December 2015, [redacted] contacted my company and requested to speak to a member of our Coaching Team about the various coaching programs we offer. At that time [redacted] was connected with a member of the Coaching Team and had 2 separate, lengthy phone conversations (between 60-90 minutes...

each) with a member of the Coaching Team as part of her decision making process to enroll in one of our programs. After spending close to 3 hours total with a member of the Coaching Team [redacted] chose to enroll in our Core Coaching Program.   As part of this enrollment process [redacted] was presented with printed material that explained the programs, including tuition investment, in detail. Based on the printed materials [redacted] received she chose a program and investment level that worked best for her as well a payment plan of her choice.   At that time a legal program attendee agreement was prepared for [redacted] reflecting her specific choices including the program, payment plan, payment method of her choice and that she is responsible for the full investment in her program of choice regardless of how she chooses to use the program.   That agreement was then emailed to [redacted] which [redacted] then signed each page as well as the final page of the document confirming that [redacted] had thoroughly read and agreed to the terms of the program.   This legal binding agreement was also honored by [redacted]’ credit card company when she attempted to break the agreement and issue a chargeback.   [redacted] was fully informed in every step of the process, as described above, and never received any information or verbal communication that reflects anything different than the philosophy shared at our website [redacted]. We teach a very solid curriculum of marketing and selling skills needed in order to financially succeed as a Highly Sensitive Entrepreneur and the success we achieve is evident as can also be found listed on our website.   Thank you, Heather Dominick-K[redacted] Owner and President EnergyRICH Coaching, Inc / A Course In Business Miracles [redacted]
