Town Gun Shop/Town Police Supply

ive been a loyal customer for towngun for 25 years, untill the other day on 9/21/13, the issue that im reporting is unfairness . me and my father was going to see a pistol they had in stock and for sale, well we drive an hour to there store to view a sig sauer p516 pistol, they said we can show u but its not for sale, I ask why , they said were holding it for a guy thats a captain of a ship, hes not due in land for a couple of days , the stores has two pistols in stock, an that guy wants both of them, they allso informed us the guy hasn't even looked at the guns , or put any money down on them, , my father allways told me ,one bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, so get this straight , they had me and my father with money and didnt want to sale, I know they said that the guy has bought 20 thousand dollars worth of stuff in the past, but me , my family , and friends has spent mor than 50 thousand dollars worth of stuff in that store, I can understand holding one pistol but not both of them , ive talked to [redacted] , the head guy over there , hes all about being fair , but actions speak louder, as for me , my , friends and family , we will never do business withem , and I m sure they will get the word out!

I have purchased multiple firearms, supplies and ammo from Townes and have always had positive experiences. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I've never been made to feel rushed even in a crowded store. I drive about 45 minutes (and past at least 4 other firearm sellers) when I go and it is worth the trip.

My experience with Town Gun Shop/Police Supply was a pleasant one. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was very crowded but the salesmen/saleswomen were very good at giving everyone equal attention. When I first got there I required a lot of attention because I needed to get a closer look and hold several different firearms. The associate was very knowledgeable and even was willing to work with me on the prices a little. After I was done looking at the guns, I stepped aside so that he could tend to other customers until I made a decision on which one that I was going to buy. He told me to let him know if I needed any further assistance. I decided on a Sig Sauer-p220 (SRT model) and I couldn’t be happier with my transaction with Town Gun Shop. I highly recommend the store in Richmond, VA as this is the only one I have shopped at. I would guess that I would have had the same customer service at the shop in Collinsville, VA.
