Town Vision Electronics

Review: I purchased a [redacted] Electronics Stereo Audio receiver for personal useThe unit became defective and [redacted] authorized the repair through one of their licensed repair storesThe only one that was in my general vicinity was Town Vision (40+ minutes away- not easy for me)
I dropped the unit off at the end of FebSometime in March I called and was told it was completedI explained that the store location was a distance away from me, and my weekend schedule was extremely busy (I have kids who play 2+ sports and I coach different teams)., I work in NYC during the week, and the store closes at 4, so during the week is not an option
I called back different times over the summer to 1) check to make sure all was still in order and 2) to apologize for my delay, but continued to explain my issue that it was difficult for me to get to the store
I was never told anything other than "Yes, its fixed, we have itCome in when you can."
One Saturday a few weeks ago, I had a few hours free, so I jumped in the car to pick it upI called just to confirm everything was in orderI was told that they sent the unit to a warehouseI again explained my issue, and explained that I was never told that my unit would be sent to a warehouseNumerous arguments followed
From there, Town Vision showed their true colors
1) The store itself is an embarrassmentIts a mess, stuff everywhere, and not cleanI would be ashamed if this was my store
2) The owner- Honestly one of the ruder people I have ever met in my life
3) Clearly, customer service is NOT part of picture, nor is properly communicating to a customer a priority
4) [redacted] called them and stated that they ([redacted]) would pay for the shipping to meThey would send a packing slip (pre-paid) and Town Vision would just have to send the unitThey agreedweeks later [redacted] emails me to say that Town Vision doesn't have a box to send the unit in, and that I need to pick it up within weeks.Desired Settlement: I just want my receiver backTown Vision agreed to send it to me during a call with [redacted], and now they are saying they don't have a boxThat is comicalits They can obtain a box from somewhere
Again, I want my receiver backThat's it
