*** son brought the jacket , there was a misunderstanding between the counter person and the customer's sonI can't really say who is at fault but the jacket was put in different customer's nameWhen the customer's son came to pick up without ticket we couldn't find the jacket because the information didn't matchFinally we we found the jacket , we had to make sure that the was *** ***'s so we called and made sure it was hersWhen the customers come to pick up their items without the ticket, we usually find it right away using the phone numberBut somehow if the wrong information is given to the computer, it might take a little timeFinally, over the years, when customers send somebody else with their clothes that when we have a problem like thisMy counter person told the customer's son about the damage when she wrote the ticket and it was written in both our receipt and the customersAnd we never used "You people" talking to *** *** and her sonIt's unfortunate that *** *** was upset with us, she has been very good customer of our for yearsI know that the Dry Cleaners doesn't have a good reputation but we try run a honeset businessThank You,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     I know the condition my jacket left my house; and I know the condition it was in when returned.  There is nothing to "burn" my jacket with in my house nor on the street.  I and my son left home together.  I went to the garage and he went to the cleaners; no "burning" along the way!  I believe the cleaners put it in their dryer at too hot a temperature to dry it, burned it and tried to blame it on my son because of his condition!  He came home very very upset unnecessarily.  The clerk was not pleasant and when I approached her she spoke in a very disrespectful tone.  This is not the first time my clothes have been ruined at this cleaners.  In  the past they  melted the color off my dress; more recently they returned another winter coat unclean and wet, in the plastic covering!       Although YOU closed this case in a short period of time, less than 7 days; I will continue to pursue what is right and just.  I am very upset with your unfair decision to close the case.  It is senseless to believe that my son would even have the means to burn my clothes on the way to the cleaners; and then close the case based on what grounds.  How can this make sense to you?  If you need pictures, I can send them to you.
