On the day of the incident maintenance did respond to the callThe plumber and carpet company were also calledThe plumber
managed to unstop the lineThe carpet company then proceeded to extract the waterThey removed the padding and deodorized and disinfected the carpeting after the resident finally removed all of her belongings from the floorThe carpet company returned on different occasions to attempt to relay the pad and clean the carpet in the apartmentThis happened on the November 30th, December 3rd and December 7thThe carpet company was finally allowed access on December 9thOn December 7th we also hired an outside contractor to repair the collapsed sewer line on the outside of the residents apartment that had caused the issue from the start
A call was also made to the answering service because the stove burner was not workingMaintenance called the resident and explained that the problem was probably that the burner needed to be pushed inThe resident pushed in the burnerMaintenance went to the apartment the next day and checked all burners and all were working properlyIn regards to the window the glass and an additional part had to be ordered and have all been replaced
The problem in reference to this apartment can be resolved in a timely manner if the resident allows us accessThe resident has stated that she does not want anyone in her apartment unless someone is thereAs of this date and going forward this will not be the practice on this particular apartmentIt will be treated as all the rest of the apartments at StonecrestThe lease states we may enter peacefully to take care of all the work orders that the resident is asking for without an appointmentNo appointment will be made going forward in this unitI will be calling the resident today to explain this process to her

I do not allow anyone in my apartment without my or someone that I trust present, this complex has a history of deceit and distrust and dishonesty that I've personally encounteredThe maintenance man doesn't even keep honest communication with property management of what he has or has not completed and he does not respect my personal unitHe has time and time again lied about what's needed or has been addressedI called the emergency number about a non working stove and he stated he was not dropping what he was doing top come out to fix that that he would be out the next day during business hours to fix it but it's within their lease and emergency guidelines that he is to come out the same day of the call because it is indeed considered an emergency maintenance issueBut to resolve the issue a previous residence and I figured out how to fix the stove! She has continued having the same issue and figured it outAs for the flooding and the resolving of the issue all of my belonging got wet and fisheries by sewage water from a toilet that the "Maintenance Man" DID NOT FIX in a timely mannerI always have someone available for them to access the apartment to fix what's neededIt still states that the Maintenance man can not be trusted seeing it took for the Revdex.com and the property supervisor to get involved to complete the work! It is never my job to continuously flick the breaker on and off just to have heart for the hour and it to click back off and not have heat for an entire weekend and the property continue to get paid and he's refusing to fix the issueOnce again calling the emergency line to get some results only to be told he doesn't have time to comply with the guidelines and come out even though the temperature continued droppingBut lacking the compassion and humanity to make sure that the heat is working properly on a cold night with a child in the home! The issue of access to the unit was not a issue at that point, he just choose not to comeFollowing his own rules instead of the agreement of the leaseAs for the defected padding being removed that is untrue that I guess it wasn't in the budget because all the that was down to the carpet that was flooded and contaminated by sewage was a disinfectant spray and a steam cleanI have no problem with letting the work be completed that's needed and necessary but have the integrity to be honest and the professionalism to abide by the agreement that the lease set forth to upholdI'm not trying to make this out to be a big issue or neither do I want to create a bad relationship between the management and I, I have been in this neighborhood for a long time and love the community but one thing I am not and won't be portrayed to be as a liar or looked at as a liar or trouble maker because I want what I am paying forThat's something I deserve as hard as I work!
