Townsend Pack N Ship

Review: We had a mother board we wanted to ship but were awaiting the RMA number. TownSend Pack-N-Ship in Mechanicsville, VA 23116 said we could leave our package with them and once we got the RMA number, they could add it and then ship our package. In the interim, they would set it aside and hold the package but we should go ahead and pay the potential shipping ($20.09)so they could send it after we called with the RMA number (and not have to come in again). We found out that evening that we could not get an RMA number (they just wanted a photograph instead to be emailed), so we went to Townsend to pick up the package the next morning. After a quick search, they said [redacted] must have picked it up and blamed it on [redacted]. Then they said they would try to intercept it and have it returned, but regardless, we had to pay the shipping because once a packing slip is filled out, we had to pay, regardless of whether or not it is ever actually shipped, because they have to pay [redacted] every time a slip is filled out. So I spoke to [redacted] and they said TownSend only pays when the package is actually shipped, not just whenever a slip is filled out. So now we are still waiting to see if our package gets returned. TownSend said they would give us a call in a day or two, but they have not called and are not answering the phone. We need that mother board returned!Desired Settlement: We would like the motherboard returned, an APOLOGY, and a refund of the $20.09 for a package that was not supposed to be shipped without our authorization.

After speaking with [redacted] from the company on 8/12/13 he stated he purchased the business prior to the complaint and bought assets only. No money is available to provide a refund. If the motherboard is returned to the company the company will reach out to the customer to come and pick it up.
