Depending on the venues we do not always need a permit, which is about half of the venues of the over that we work with on a yearly basis We absolutely planned on doing this event and apologize that it did not work out If you are not able to take advantage of any of our transfer offers please send an email via our website and we can help find a way to make this right for you

Once we cancel an event and notify participants we work with everyone to find a solution We only advertise for future events that are taking place throughout the United States and Canada Other similar events and events outside of the US and Canada are not affiliated with our race series

This is not a scam as you and your attorney general will find out.  We do this event well over a 100 times a year and have done this event over 250 times with having to cancel 3-4 races over the 4 years.  We did not do this deceitfully as you know very well from the waiver you agreed you read and signed.  We will do our best to find a fair solution.

I am rejecting this response because: The change of venue was not in the same state or on the same day.  A full refund is expected as the company has awarded refunds to other participants when the company "changed the venue".  Further, individuals for which I paid admissions for have contacted Sarah T[redacted] Chief of Consumer Protection at the [redacted] Attorney General's office.  It is our understanding that the state of [redacted] will be taking this up and partnering with other states to protect consumers from this SCAM.  I look forward to a full refund.

I am rejecting this response because:I understand it was stated clearly that there were no refunds going to be issued for cancellations; however, nowhere did it disclose on the site that there must be a certain level of participation for the race to occur. Also, why was the City of [redacted] not contacted to receive a permit for this race? To me, that is the part that seems so shady. It seems like you guys never even planned to have the race, you were just advertising it to collect people's money and then hide behind the "Sorry, we don't issue refunds" thing.

We understand that it is very frustrating as we always have the best intentions to host a great event  in every community. When we realized that event was not going to take place we cancel the event as we are not a scam and not in the business of having folks continue to sign up. We have a...

strict refund policy that is very well stated on the website and at the time of purchase yet we also offer many alternatives in the case that a participant is unable to make the other events offered for transfer. We encourage registrants to take advantage of the event closest to them,   Transfer the registration, transfer to another year, or reach out to us if we can help find another alternative. We have numerous contact us locations on our website and a staff that  response to these emails.  We have done this event in over 100 cities and entertain over 400,000 participants. This is not a huge scam yet and fortunate occurrence and we encourage our customers to read our policies before signing up and before agreeing to our terms which all paid participants agree to.

Review: I had agreed with Townsquare Media for them to work on my web site and Paid them $597.00 with a 90 day guarantee and they did not complete more than half of the agreed proposal. They had my web page down more than agreed and they never finished even my correct services and hours. They never touched the social media of facebook or linkden. I still have no linkden and twitter. They never put a gift certificate app on for clients to purchase them online nor a calendar scheduler.

They said they would not charge my credit card until it was completely up and agreed upon and they shut me down and told me I had to pay another $197 and they would take care of what was not taken care of and a whole month they still did not do a thing.

I had to hire another company to take care of me. The above is not on my web still.Desired Settlement: I am due a full refund.

$597.00 plus $297.00
