To whom it may concern,On January fifth when Mr [redacted] purchased his Mustang with 116,miles we properly disclosed to him the vehicle was being purchased as is without any sort of warranty We had previously performed and inspection on his vehicle and determined that on this fourteen year old car the tires were at 3/tread depth on the front (Certified pre-owned minimums are normally 4/tread depth) and 5/on the back tires The brake measurements were millimeters so they were nearly new In any circumstance a year old car is not by any means new Mr [redacted] drove the vehicle prior to purchase and had been noted the "as-is" status of the car He proceeded and moved forward with his purchase.Upon inspection of the vehicle the top was not tested to determine if it was leaking as to the age of the car When first alerted that Mr [redacted] had a leak in his roof, we attempted to assist him with promptly of which we were met with a hostile and unconsolable client Mr [redacted] left the store before resolution could be completed Mr [redacted] then called back in and I spoke to him we worked with Tri Tex to put a new convertible top on on the car and made sure that Mr [redacted] had transportation during the disposition of his vehicle Once the work was completed by Tri Tex Mr [redacted] came picked up his Mustang and seemed extremely satisfied Disclosure as to the condition of the year car were made clear prior to and upon purchase of the vehicle Unfortunately, Mr [redacted] has not contact4ed us any further since he left pleased with the new convertible top for his car We would be pleased to work with him if he wants to have additional service work completed on his car He can contact to assist at any pointRespectfully,Bill G [redacted]
The Toy Barn certainly appreciates Mr [redacted] business and we are certainly disappointed that he isn't satisfied with his most recent purchase decision The Toy Barn has sold Mr [redacted] several cars over the last several months including a BMW Mas well as his most recent purchase, an Audi RS Unfortunately, the negative deficiency that Mr [redacted] has mentioned is a direct result of his purchase activity Mr [redacted] purchased both cars that carried about $8k worth of state sales tax, which he financed into his loan entirely Additionally, we allowed Mr [redacted] $58k for his BMW that he had recently purchased for $62K resulting in an additional $4K of negative equity I met with Mr [redacted] when he approached me asking that we payoff his outstanding balance on his Audi RSas he wished to return the vehicle Mr [redacted] did in fact purchase his Audi RSfrom the Toy Barn for $57,xxx We understand that his needs have changed, and now has decided that he no longer wants to keep his car The Toy Barn is willing to purchase his car at current market value We are unfortunately not willing to participate in any of Mr [redacted] negative equity as he has requested

recent purchase, an Audi RS5. Unfortunately, the negative deficiency that Mr. [redacted] has mentioned is a direct result of his purchase activity. Mr. [redacted] purchased both cars that carried about $8k worth of state sales tax, which he financed into his loan entirely. Additionally, we allowed Mr. [redacted] $58k for his BMW that he had recently purchased for $62K resulting in an additional $4K of negative equity. I met with Mr. [redacted] when he approached me asking that we payoff his outstanding balance on his Audi RS5 as he wished to return the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] did in fact purchase his Audi RS5 from the Toy Barn for $57,xxx. We understand that his needs have changed, and now has decided that he no longer wants to keep his car. The Toy Barn is willing to purchase his car at current market value. We are unfortunately not willing to participate in any of Mr. [redacted] negative equity as he has requested.
To whom it may concern,We certainly apologize for any confusion that may have existed on this vehicle. The vehicle was originally uploaded onto our website when the client purchased their new vehicle and this one was traded in as part of the transaction. A generic price automatically...
goes up onto our website and populates various other sites. Then our inventory specialist actually prices the vehicle. During this time the X6 underwent a multipoint inspection in our service department and internal engine issues were diagnosed on the vehicle. This vehicle was not one that we would be selling to the retail public as it fails to meet the standards of the Toy Barn. I apologize for any confusion in pricing but it coincided with inspection process.
I certainly appreciate your business and look forward to helping you with the installation of your Ciliajet Application as well as your Xpel Ultimate film for your Audi. According to our records we have tried to reach you by phone on April 1st as well as April 12th to schedule your...
appointment. I would be happy to connect with you at any time personally to insure that we are able to deliver both items to you as agreed. As we mentioned by voice message, we will need your vehicle for 1-2 days and will provide you with a loaner vehicle while your Audi is being completed. Please contact me directly at ###-###-#### or by email at [redacted]@toybarncars.com. Kind Regards, Justin.
[redacted] purchased the auto in question for our dealership in June of 2017. Prior to the purchase the auto underwent a safety inspection, which would have included an inspection of all of the onboard internal computer systems of this specific vehicle that would have provide information to any...
service tech about any error, and or trouble codes that are occurring with the auto at the time of the service check. This auto did not have any indication of the of the problem that [redacted] encountered. [redacted] did not bring the vehicle to our service department. He did not allow our certified tech's to inspect the car, and or possibly preform any work that was needed. If we were to preform the work, it would not have cost anywhere near the cost [redacted] incurred at the MB dealer. In terms of [redacted] assertions, I would like to address them as follows: In no way did we sell a vehicle with a known defect. The many computer systems on a MB tell the consumer if there is a problem. There were no check engine lights on, nor any codes displayed when he purchased the vehicle. [redacted] assertion that we sold a defective vehicle is baseless, and without fact. We have been in business for many years on Post Road in Dublin, OH. Our Company has been awarded Dealer of the Year two years running by Dealer Rater, a highly regarded dealer rating service, that is available to all consumers. [redacted] assertions that we knew about a problem, and "sold him a lemon" are boarding on slanderous, and again are without merit, and or fact. [redacted] asserts that we should have known about this problem. We do an extensive check of the all vehicles the we sell, making sure to the best of our ability that the car is a safe and secure automobile. We cannot foresee the future on an 11 year old auto. We can only do the best inspection of the vehicle when we have it to make sure it is in good working order. I have attached emails from [redacted] asking how much he would get for his vehicle. Please see the September 22, 2017 email from [redacted] to Greg M[redacted] asking how much he could get for his vehicle. Up to the 25th of September he is corresponding with Greg about several cars. See the email string dated September 28, where [redacted] is telling Greg that there is a problem, Greg asked [redacted] to bring to vehicle to us for inspection. He indicated to Greg verbally it was already at [redacted] being worked on. The care was sold in 'as is' condition. We are under no contractual obligation to make payment to [redacted]. If [redacted] would have brought the car to us, we could have had to opportunity to work out some type of customer satisfaction with him. If we had done the work on the car that [redacted] did, it would have cost half of what [redacted] paid. In an effort to resolve this issue, I will offer a one time payment to [redacted] in the amount of $1500. I would of course need a release signed by [redacted] prior to making such payment to him. Please contact me directly if there are any further questions, and or information I may provide to you and or [redacted] Joseph C[redacted]
To whom it may concern,On January fifth when Mr [redacted] purchased his 2003 Mustang with 116,830 miles we properly disclosed to him the vehicle was being purchased as is without any sort of warranty. We had previously performed and inspection on his vehicle and determined that on this fourteen...
year old car the tires were at 3/32 tread depth on the front (Certified pre-owned minimums are normally 4/32 tread depth) and 5/32 on the back tires. The brake measurements were 8 millimeters so they were nearly new. In any circumstance a 14 year old car is not by any means new. Mr. [redacted] drove the vehicle prior to purchase and had been noted the "as-is" status of the car. He proceeded and moved forward with his purchase.Upon inspection of the vehicle the top was not tested to determine if it was leaking as to the age of the car. When first alerted that Mr [redacted] had a leak in his roof, we attempted to assist him with promptly of which we were met with a hostile and unconsolable client. Mr [redacted] left the store before resolution could be completed. Mr. [redacted] then called back in and I spoke to him we worked with Tri Tex to put a new convertible top on on the car and made sure that Mr [redacted] had transportation during the disposition of his vehicle. Once the work was completed by Tri Tex Mr. [redacted] came picked up his Mustang and seemed extremely satisfied. Disclosure as to the condition of the 14 year car were made clear prior to and upon purchase of the vehicle. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] has not contact4ed us any further since he left pleased with the new convertible top for his car. We would be pleased to work with him if he wants to have additional service work completed on his car. He can contact to assist at any point. Respectfully,Bill G[redacted]
