I've seen many people complain about the customer service at Toys R Us on forums but I've had nothing but positive experiences with them so I felt they deserved a good reviewTheir prices are a bit high but their customer service has been awesome so I'd say it's worth itI had a baby shower recently and a few people bought things that weren't on my registry that I didn't really wantI brought them to my local Toys R Us, without a receipt or anything, and they happily provided me with a gift card of the items' value for me to use on things that I actually wantedI also received a shipment that was placed in a box which was way too big for the items inside and there were no packing materials inside eitherAs a result, one of my items got damagedI called Toys R Us customer service and was immediately sent to an agent, no holding what-so-everShe had a new item shipped to me and let me keep the damaged item as well, which was an ointment so even though the packaging was damaged it was still usable and I got two items for the price as oneNeedless to say, I felt that made up for the poor packaging jobAll in all, I think Toys R Us is a pretty darn good company to shop fromMuch better than another store which still hasn't responded to my inquiry after more than a week

Worst experience ever with a company Placed an order online for one of there thanksgiving day sale items the day before Thanksgiving I had to call December 3rd to get status on my order as I did not receive a shipping notification yet there system kept stating that it was in stock After sitting on hold for minutes I got someone who told me I would get status on my order in 3-days I told him that was completely unacceptable and asked to speak to a supervisor or manager This individual stated I would get tracking within 3-days and they would follow up with a call To my surprise all this occurred Then I received the order The order came in an extremely large box delivered by a budget truck and it was just suppose to be a Calico Critter School Treehouse When I opened the box I had an item with no packing that was half of the size of the box inside When I took it out it was a Calico Critter Cozy Cottage that was actually cheaper than the item I ordered Since it was not packed properly the inside of the Cottage looked like it had been hit by a tornado and furniture pieces where everywhere and without opening I am not able to see if any pieces are actually damaged I then called December 11th to advise I received the wrong product and it was not in good condition due to lack of packing by Toysrus After sitting on hold for over minutes that day I finally got to speak to someone who was very nice but stated I would get a full refund within 3-days It is now over a week later and there is no refund on my account As you can imagine I am not happy as I was charged for a product that I never received (kind of fraudulent from the customers eyes especially when Toyrus is so difficult to get in touch with) I am tempted to drive into a store just to get my money I went through all of this to try and ensure my year old niece had the best Christmas ever As you can imagine I WILL NEVER EVER purchase from Toyrus again and I would highly recommend nobody else purchase from them till there customer service improves I am currently on hold now for minutes with no end in sight on when someone will help or when I will get my money back for their mistake I hope this issue does not have to escalate further for them to fix their mistake

Review: Toy r US refused to give me credit for my rewards points. In store purchases from BABYS R US & TOYS R US ON LINE is not on the same computer.Desired Settlement: Give me my CREDIT.
