Toyota of North Miami

My daughter went in for routine maintenance for our 4-year-old Corolla - probably just oil and filter change. The service advisor recommended numerous services such as a trans service drain and fill; complete induction service; replacement of front brakes; rear brake service; replace serpentine drive belt; brake fluid drain and fill and coolant exchange. The vehicle was NOT inspected for these things prior to getting my daughter to sign, and she simply didn't know better than to trust the professional service advisor. I called at least fifteen other Toyota service centers and were told that most of these services should not have been recommended till the car was at least five year old, or had 65,000 or 90,000 or even 100,000 miles. Our car had only 16,880 miles! Every technician I spoke to said it is an outrage! Further, the car was only worked on a maximum of two hours. Maximum. But, the recommended time on their own invoice added up to 8.3 hours! And, six other service centers agreed that it is entirely impossible that all of the services billed for could have been done in less than around five hours!

Great sales department, pleasant and helpful employees.

The service department is just the opposite. Difficult, unpleasant, and in my experience dishonest. The mechanics I have being told, are not employees, they work as independent contractors , and all they care is billing.
I have been there with an specific, simple problem with a window switch, and left 4 hours later with a car with multiple problems and a defective " "new "battery. They put a "new" battery in September 2020, and in January 2021 the "new"battery was dead and my car broke down far from my home and from the dealership. . Never got a refund, because " I did not notify them ". I tried to contact them for towing and service for about 4 hours and they never answered the phone. I had to be towed to the closest garage.
After complaining finally I got a new battery, never a refund, so now I have two new batteries and the same original problem that brought me there and was never fixed ( a electrical window switch, that an employee called Filiberto wanted to charge $894 for a replacement) and 600 dollars less in my checking account.

Will never return and I will make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Management is terrible with employees and clients, Roberto and the the worst Mr Antoine.

Be careful with them or use a different dealership .I was planning to buy a new Prius in one year, but after this experience I have changed my mind and I will never buy Toyota again.

I went shopping @ Toyota of North Miami weeks ago I was greeted by Tony Z., who made me feel comfortable at the showroom and he guided us around and guided us through the available cars I must say this this was my best car shopping experience ever Tony was very informative and he was answering my questions very patiently Because of this experience, I will be coming to the Toyota of North Miami showroom for years ahead
