Review: I purchased a vehicle last fall and was forced into paying $9000 over the invoice price for warranties, service plan, various dealer added options. I did not ask for, want, or need the dealer added options, but paid for them anyway. When a part fell off of the truck I was told it happens all the time and isn't covered by warranty. Why did I pay thousands of dollars for a warranty that doesn't cover common problems? Every time I go to the dealership for regular service I receive terrible customer service and at one point waited two and a half hours for a simple oil change. When I brought these issues to the management I was verbally abused by the staff who were defensive, argumentative and angry on the phone. They talked to me like I was stupid. I have filed complaints to this company and to Toyota and while Toyota is handling the issue professionally and politely, the dealership isn't taking this seriously. After I filed my complaint with Toyota the response I got from the dealership was a scripted sales pitch trying to get me to buy a car. Responding to a serious complaint with a chirpy sales pitch is very unprofessional. While I was on the phone with the general manager he tried to distract, divert and diffuse the situation by offering me a free tank of gas and a free car wash. I was so offended by his response. This is a serious complaint and a car wash isn't going to fix it. I was supposed to be contacted today by the customer relations manager and have received no such contact. I can not express in words how much stress I have been put under by this company. While paperwork was being signed I was in and out of tears, I have never left this dealership without crying.Desired Settlement: I want my mud flap fixed. I want a refund for the warranty that doesn't cover things that actually go wrong and a refund for dealer added options that I didn't ask for, want or need, and I will be going to a different dealership for the service because I never want to go back to Toyota of Pullman ever again.

Review: I bought a pre-owned car from Toyota of Pullman. I take care of my disabled sister. We needed a vehicle for dr appointments & just to get my sister out of town once in awhile. I am 52 years old,and thought I could see a con. But I have never been so mistreated & ripped off. I am beside myself, I was lied to, taken advantage of & threatened with arrest & jail because I attempted to return the car 2 days later. I was told I wouldn't pay above retail blue book. I was charged $1,600 over! I told them the vehicle was for a disabled person and that went unheard! This was my sister's money and it was every dime she had. I was told the car was checked out top to bottom. Since then they have had to fix a burnt out headlight & door lock. Issues they refuse to fix are hood hydraulics, blown speaker, burnt out tail light & cracked headlight cover. I don't believe the car was inspected. I hope this complaint lowers their rating. They are so dishonest they should not be in business. Of course, I blame myself for wasting my sister's money. Just never thought a salesman could lie so well and would cheat a disabled woman. I sure hope they feel good about themselves! Anyone considering of buying from them should look elsewhere!Desired Settlement: I want my money back

Great experience buying a car from beginning to end. Couldn't believe how easy the whole process was or how friendly and helpful my salesman proved to be. Thank you for making my car buying experience great!

Horrible experience please do not trust this company with your business. They try to coordinate the buying process in a way that seems quick and effort less to the customer but they really don't care about the customers, the quality of products they're selling to their customers and how the products end up affecting the families that drive away in the items. We were told so many things about the vehicles we purchased from Toyota of Pullman and they all ended up being lies. We tried to work with the staff and owner of lot to resolve issues and were told to fix them ourselves. Even after we were told certain things, everyone at the lot that was "our friend" during the buying process ended up turning away from us when it came time to fixing essential parts of the vehicle in order for it to run. We were left to fix the problems on our own, spending more money. We lost reliable cars in trades and lots of cash down all to this horrible, horrible staff that lie to customers to make the sale, then abandon the customer in times of need. Please save your energy, money and trouble, go to a trusted reputable Pullman lot. Stay away from Toyota of Pullman!

Review: I called this dealership on 2/2/15 at about 1500 hours and asked about the 2000 Ford Expedition they had listed online. I was told the price was $9995 and there was about 120,000 miles on it. The salesman told me he would email me the information. By 0845 on 2/3/15 I had not heard anything so I called the dealership again. [redacted], the salesman I spoke with, said the vehicle was about $8000 and had about 118,000 miles on it. At about 0915 hours, I received an email and call from salesman [redacted] with the previously requested information. The email said the vehicle had gotten new brakes and was listed for $10,900. At about 1530, we called [redacted] and asked about the price. We told him we had $6460.17 to spend and that had to include tax and licensing. He asked of we could do financing and we said no. He said he would speak with his manager and call us back. When he called back he asked how soon we could be there. We explained that we live in Spokane and would not be there until almost 1900 hours. We clarified that the price was going to be $6460.17 out the door and he said yes. We drove from Spokane Washington to the dealership. [redacted] had already left and the vehicle was not ready to be driven and no one would honor the price that [redacted] had quoted us. The vehicle was not in the condition I was told it was in either. When I told them I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com, they said they didnt care because they were not members. They refused to let me talk to the general manager and the sales manager told me they would not honor the price I had been quoted by [redacted].Desired Settlement: The 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition for the $6460.17 after tax and licensing. I want the repairs that I was told would be done (exhaust leak fixed, new brakes).

Review: Two weeks after purchasing a 2009 Subaru Impreza from Toyota of Pullman my check engine light went on. The code read is P0420 meaning the catalytic converter needs to be changed. Since I bought the car at 81,107 miles Subaru dealerships cannot fix the recall because the car is over 80,000 miles. This problem was not disclosed to us before the purchase of this vehicle and since the light went on only two weeks after purchasing the vehicle we believe this business cleared the code in order to sell the car without replacing this part. We were also promised a full inspection of the car including checking the fluids and belts. After driving hours to Toyota of Pullman to have them check and fix the car after the check engine light went on, they informed us that the car could only be fixed at a Subaru dealership. The Subaru dealership reprogrammed the car's computer in hopes to fix the code on the car and did a certified used 5-point inspection on the car. They found that 2 of the drive belts were cracked, there was stuff floating in the engine coolant and the oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, and power steering fluid were all dirty. Therefore Toyota of Pullman failed to keep their promise to give the car a full inspection before selling the vehicle and sold us a car with a defective part.Desired Settlement: The estimated cost to repair the Catalytic converter for the Subaru Impreza is $2,000, we are asking for Toyota of Pullman to repair this part since they sold the car with a defective part.
