Toyota of Turnersville Reviews (6)

Review: On June 1st 2015 I leased a 2015 Camry SE under the guise that it included HD radio and other features that were not included in the vehicle I had been delivered. Although I had contacted the dealer the following day, and the day immediately after that they failed to respond for two weeks until I posted a negative review on Facebook. Although I have spoken to a sales manager there has been no resolution to the case.Desired Settlement: To receive a black on black Camry SE with Entune Plus at the same negotiated pricing plan as my vehicle with Gap insurance. That's $300 a month for 36 months with Gap for the lease of the vehicle.

Review: We bought a used car from this Toyota location. They are tacking on approximately $700 to all of their used cars because they are offering Lojack (which is used to locate your car if stolen). The Lojack service was already paid for by the previous owner of the car and Lojack can never be turned off. When a person buys a car, they simply can contact Lojack and transfer the registration into their name. Toyota says that you must pay $700 to have the service on your car and if you don't buy it, they will turn it off. That information is completely false. They are trying to charge people $700 for a service that they already received money for from the previous owner and then they are lying to new customers about how it works and trying to get their money for it.Desired Settlement: I would like them to stop tacking on this $700 Lojack fee to all of their used cars. They are ripping people off on a daily basis by having this on all of their cars. They should also offer a refund to all of those who were charged this expense on their used vehicles. I did not end up paying for this service, however it is the principle of the matter that they are taking advantage of those who are not aware of this.

Review: I bought a new Corolla on Jan31 and paid for the Pennsylvania tags because I live in Pennsylvania and work in South Jersey.

1) I was told to go there to pick up the tags 2 days after the temporary ones had expired.

2) I recently got a ticket for not having an inspection sticker on the window which I never noticed. So I called the salesman, Mr. [redacted]. He told me to mail him the ticket and he would take care of it, so I did. After some weeks, I got warning from [redacted] telling me I didn't pay for the ticket and I was late. So I called [redacted] again. He said they wouldn't pay for the ticket because I should have been notified to take the vehicle for inspection. In fact, when I got the plate and registration card, I didn't see any notice about the need of an inspection. And I don't know why I need to bring a brand new car from the dealer for an inspection. I think the manufacturer should have all the vehicles passed inspection before selling them to the customers. I bought new cars several times before and never needed to take the new cars for inspection. This dealer never told me they didn't cover inspection.

3) When I asked [redacted] why he didn't at least give me a call while keeping my ticket and leaving it past due, he kept repeating that I should have been notified for the inspection. This is really irresponsible. All the time he didn't say a single "Sorry.". When I kept questioning, he told me to call back. After a while, he called me back, verified my address and said he would mail me the check for the ticket. However, after about a week he called me telling that he would give me the check if I go to the dealership. So I feel he's playing tricks, very irresponsible.Desired Settlement: The dealer should reimburse the ticket and pay for the extra fee for the inspection to get the sticker, and an apology.

Review: My husband is in the military and was going to be sent cross country for training followed by extended PCS overseas which meant he would be away for nearly 25 months and we were getting separated so he was going to take my 2013 Nissan to training because it gets 34+ MPG. Needing a car my friend suggested I go to where she purchased her New Toyota Venza at Turnersville Toyota which is over an hour away from my home. while there I received good service from [redacted] who provided me with plenty of information about the vehicles I was interested in without being pushy and my Loan writer was also helpful and pleasant. which is why I gave this dealer more than 1 star. I purchased my car drove home found out his military orders were changed he was not going away for that long and further he no longer needed my car.

My issue, Now I have two cars:

I called to explain this issue I purchased the car late saturday and I called 9 am monday morning. I left messages for manager [redacted], with no answer I called again and again and was transferred from one person to another and a few time I got hung up on. I spoke to manager [redacted] who denied toyota have a return policy due to electronic signature and refused to allow the return of the car and stated the contract could not be canceled. but he agreed to allow a trade during the process of the trade the original contract was canceled. the remaining balance was put onto the newly purchased car. the manager had lied about not being able to cancel the contract, taking the car back and further the initial deposit made on the original contract was taken out several days after the second contract. they refused to negotiate the payment amount of the second contract and refused to removed the maintenance coverage which they state I would have to pay until the loan is paid off but the car is not covered for the serviceDesired Settlement: allow return of the purchased vehicle and written return policy

Review: Bought a pre-owned certified Toyota Camry from Toyota of Turnersville on 05/03/14. Tread on tires are ok but noticed they looked dry rotted. Took vehicle to Toyota of Turnersville on 09/27/14. Technician found that all four tires are dry rotted. For only owning the vehicle for 5months, the dry rot was already on tires. Toyota would not own the fact that they let us purchase the vehicle with dry rotted tires. They will not put new tires on vehicle free of charge. Said it's pass 3months of purchasing the vehicle. So for only owning the vehicle for 5months, there is no way the dry rot of tires was my fault. Because the tread was good on tires owned by a precious person Toyota kept those tires on the vehicle, however, if it's a certified vehicle, they should've replaced the tires before someone else purchased the vehicle for their safety alone.Desired Settlement: Want all four dry rotted tires replaced free of charge. I have warranty on the vehicle until 100k miles. The vehicle currently has 48,471k miles on it. Being told the tires are not covered pass 3months is unacceptable. I've only owned the vehicle for 5months and should not have to pay for dry rotted tires. I'm not asking to replace tires because of wear and tare on tread. Dry rot on tires are from Toyota not putting new tires on vehicle when purchased.

Review: Dear Mr. [redacted]; (GENERAL MANAGER)

As you know, I have been trying to get responses from you since June 21 when my temporary tags expired – with no results.

1. As you know the vehicle did not pass inspection on 6/28 (initially you told me that the vehicle had been inspected prior to sale and passed). YOU then said that we have to have it inspected.

2. Then the needed (safety) repairs were done by [redacted] GMC in Brandywine, Md. (you furnished them with your American Express card – total paid by you $1286.72;

3. I sent the inspection form along with a copy of [redacted]’s bill to you on or about 7/8.

4. I faxed you a note on 7/24 asking where the tags are – no response

5. I faxed you a note on 8/21 asking where the tags are – no response

6. I faxed you a note on 8/28 asking where the tags are – no response

So here we are on 9/2 and still no tags and still no response. So here is additional funds I’m requesting due to the non-use of a vehicle purchased from you which we paid $5000 more than the original online quote showed; plus a Pinstripe decal (the decal is there but no pinstripes); the Custom Mats were never sent; I would have to approx those at $120?

6. Also, what is the DÉCOR PACKAGE for an additional charge o$1395? I’ve tried to look it up but can’t seem to find any information about it – except one which says on this vehicle it should be $0.00 as this is part of the truck feature. You charged me $1395

7. The original online QUOTE (which brought me to you) was 15,500 – upon our arrival and the paperwork it jumped to 21,000 something, which you then revised to $17,795; after all the additional fees as mentioned plus tax, registration, title - the total then became $26,129.79 so after the $5,000 downpayment – it’s still turned into $21,129.

So this is my last attempt in doing this on my own and requesting not only a HUGE APOLOGY FOR THE INCONVIENCE, BUT REFUNDS OF THE CAR NOTES AND INSURANCE PAID SO FAR FOR A NON-USABLE TRUCK TURNERSVILLE OF NJ sold meDesired Settlement: I just want my tags, floor mats,, plus a refund requested for payments made on the vehicle and insurance for the non use of vehicle since 6/28. I also want them to honor their contract as well as promises, but most of all, when someone has an issue, to PLEASE BE DESCENT ENOUGH TO RESPOND.

Consumer

Response:
