Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:The price I paid for the vehicle was the exact sale price
posted on the windshield and that price is the same on my sales agreement
One of the first things I asked the salesman was "Do I
go to Costco to purchase a car through you or do you handle the Costco
Membership purchases?" The salesman told me it either way was okay
Nothing was given, the Costco discount I inquired about was
denied because the car was on a "July Clearance sale (Posted on the
windshield for anyone who wish to buy it)" which was what attracted me to
purchase the car and the exact price I paid
The salesman as well as Mr*** knows this, so why
create this lie!
Aside from being an insulting exaggeration, all this has no
relevance!
On my complaint that the failure to disclose two keys at the
beginning of the sale is really a legal and a tradition issue, Mr***
replied “Then your attorney can contact our attorneys!” The fact is, attorney’s are excluded from
representation in small claims
I told them that I was NOT unhappy with the car! There was
no dispute about paying the posted sales price labeled “July Sale” price!
I was surprised the cost of an extra key (Electronic with
remote control door lock) could cost anywhere from $to almost $and was
upset that the salesman did not tell me till I was excited and ready to leave
I see where Mr*** is going with his message
response:
He has painted me who paid the "full" posted
July Sales Price (without a Costco Store discount which I accepted) as a
cheap-scape, husslerThis is his foundation to not go anywhere (All that he
has attempted to paint me is what he and the salesman are)
2aMr*** claims the dealership agreed to this
heavily discounted sales price (The price was already posted on the windshield
and that price was the price I paid!
2bMr*** claims no promise or expectation of two
key
Although there was no promise of two keys, any reasonable
person who is going to pay thousands of dollars and other expenses would
customarily expect two (However these types of keys are very expensive!!!
And yes my wife was upset and shocked at the cost for a
spare full electronic-remote key
This friendly, kind, meek mannered intelligent appearing manager
is a liar! The other inference I see from the context of his message is that he
fails to understand the moral and ethical significance of my complaint

Service Manager, apologizes for our very busy schedule we try and accommodate all of our customers as best as possible. The Service Manager has left...

two messages for the customer to schedule her appointment to look into the issues she's having with her 2014 Toyota Corolla. Once the vehicle has been diagnosed we can discuss alternative transportation at that time.

We have one specific complaint about our verhicle. It is a 2014 Prius C, purchased new at Toyota of San Luis Obispo. The salesman was nice enough, but not necessarily well informed about the vehicle (he couldn't set the clock).
The one complaint was that the windshield was covered in water spots, which, given the angle of that windshield, makes the car scary to drive into the sun. The water spots were very prominent, and took me numerous attempts with vinegar, limeaway, and elbow grease to remove.
I didn't even bother taking the car to the dealer because all of my interactions with their parts, sales, and service departments have been very disappointing. The hostility of the cashier (when paying for parts) was partly sad, partly annoying. I actually take my three toyotas to a dealer 2 hours away to avoid the asylum-like atmosphere of this place.
My previous dealer in another state washed my car, ran a nice shuttle, provided free rentals, and generally made me feel welcome in the business. They had a really nice lounge, and always honored USAA vehicle pricing without any hassles.
I'm hoping another dealer opens in the area, otherwise, I'll keep on avoiding this one.

Review: Salesman failed to disclosed there was only one key to the Yaris until after all documents were sign and purchase was concluded.I feel it should be the burden of the salesperson to inform the customer in advance that there will be only one electronic key at the very beginning instead after the conclusion of the purchase..A duplicate key (full electronic key with remote door opener and closing would cost about $489 not including tax). The salesperson and manager felt I was making too big a deal over a spare key.The manager ([redacted]) during a request by telephone hung up on me after telling me to have my attorney deal with their attorneys.I called back and left on his answering machine that I only wished him to reimburse me for the cheaper version electronic key ($110) that I had made for my wife which does not have remote control door lock features (Which would have cost $489)!Toyota of San Luis Obispo may argue after the fact that they are not legally obligate to give but one key and to settle the argument would lead to an expensive protracted legal matter. However, I am 65 years old and 1. By tradition I have always gotten and always expected at lease 2 sets of keys for any kind of locks for anything & 2. In principle they should have disclosed this before and not after the purchase.Desired Settlement: I do NOT believe my request is unreasonable!I ask reimbursement for a cheaper version key ($110 vs $489)I have receipts for the purchases, cutting and programming cost ($110)

Review: I took my 2010 Toyota RAV4 in for a vehicle recall for it to be checked out and my rear view mirror attaching to the windshield was loose and I wanted them to tighten it down and when I got my vheicle back there was a 3 inch crack in the windshield. They are saying there was a crack already and the company I bought the vehicle from needs to replace it. On the paperwork I got back for them servicing my vehicle states that there was no previous damage to my car before there services, my fiancee reported this to the service manager and he will not take responsbility for it. The mangager stated that there paperwork says there was a crack in the windshield, and my paperwork does not matter. I tried to resolve it with them and they are refusing to fix the damage.Desired Settlement: A new windshield.
