I'm sorry for the misunderstanding with Mr*** I would like to pay the $to Mr*** that he is requesting. However, he states he would like it returned to his American Express card. We do not have that card information available without them calling us or stopping in

Review: bought a new nissan titan from bergstrom auto in oshkosh, had toys for trucks put a fiberglass cap on it a week after I took delivery from bergstroms. after install I looked over topper and found that it did not haver sliding side windows that were reqested when ordered. brought it up to manager and he states that is how bergstrom ordered it and to take it up with them. drive to bergstrom talk to sales manager he pulls the deal kacket and it clearly states this on the order request, they tell me to try to resolve with toys for trucks. go back to toys for trucks and talk to same manager, he takes my cell phone number and tells me he will call me after he figures this out. over a month later they say they have the sliding windows in and I can drop off truck for install. come back after install and notice right away that the windows are smaller than the originals and you can see heavy indents in the fiberglass and heavy over spray of grey/white paint on the trim around the windows and black sealer all around the windows that should not be there. go in and point this out to manager again, he takes several pics and says he will have to send them to the topper manufactor and they will get back to me again. after 3-4 months of noe response stop in and see whats going on, talk to a employee that came from there neenah store showed him the crap job that was done on this topper I paid over $1000 dollars for that is less than 6 months old and he states he is in very good with the owner of the topper company and he will get this fixed right away takes my info gives me his card and I left. it has been 6 months again with no respones. I give up on this company but I should not have to drive a brand new truck around with a topper that looks like a 12 year old built it.Desired Settlement: have asked them to fix this issue several times and no response from anyone, brought it up to bergstom nissan several times as well with no help as they did not install it and they state they have had issues with toys for trucks in the past and I would have to resolve with them. do not know what else I can do at this point but file a law suit against toys for trucks.

I am very sorry to hear about the problems you have been having and would like to resolve them ASAP. I would like to set up a time to have you come into any of our locations to get reimbursed for your troubles and get your truck topper fixed correctly. I will be calling you today to set up a time. Once again Toys For Trucks is very sorry for the lack of prompt customer service you have received and looks forward to making thing right and becoming better at what we do in the future.

Review: On Oct 1st we paid Toys For Trucks to have a trailer hitch put on our 2001 Honda Odyssey van. Qty 1-p/n 120313-Curt Hitch $197.99 Install, $60. Qty 1 p/n 55336 Curt Wiring $29.99 and wring installation $30.00. Total $317.98 plus tax $17.49 or a grand total of $335.47.. These numbers (invoice 180787), were provided by [redacted] at the front counter. They ordered the hitch and the install date was Oct 15th. Approximately 3 hours after I dropped the vehicle off, [redacted] called and told me they had a problem in that they couldn't install a hitch as the undercarriage was too unstable. They did put the wiring in and after I asked how much the wiring would cost, [redacted] said it would run $35.00. After I hung up, I told my wife [redacted] that it would not end up costing $35 as the original cost for wiring was $60. Sure enough, when I went down to pick up the vehicle, [redacted]-manager told me that they would refund me $240.53 with tax (customer return form 5699), which is a difference of $94.94. When I asked [redacted] why we were being charged that much when the original invoice for only wiring was $60, he said it was due to costs incurred for taking some bolts out to see if the undercarriage was stable enough for the hitch. When I asked why they wouldn't (especially on an older vehicle) simply check the undercarriage first, before doing any wiring, [redacted] said it was because wiring is typically done on the ground and they simply do that before they put the vehicle in the air. I told him that I thought that that it seemed like an unacceptable way of going about it for just this reason. [redacted] then told me if I wanted the wiring un-installed, there would be further charges. At this point, I am not sure if I can even put a hitch on the vehicle so the wiring might be for nothing. I don't mind the original wiring cost, but certainly nothing past that. Also, when I picked up the vehicle, there were two warning lights on that were not on when I dropped the vehicle off. Today, I have the vehicle into an independent auto repair center to take care of the warning lights for a $35 charge. I am sure this was due to the wiring installation by Toys For Trucks. I unfortunately didn't tell [redacted] when I picked up the vehicle and should have. [redacted] was very curt with my wife as well which didn't help matters.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate at least $35 to refunded to my American Express card and if they were reputable, they would refund $70 to correct the problem they created with the warning lights.
