I just wanted to describe our experience at the Kingston Toys"R"Us today.
There were no prices under the [redacted] science globes but they did have sale signs side-by-side all along that row of shelving. There were two different globes above the signs so it looked like all of the [redacted] Science globes were 34.99. My little girl has always wanted a globe and decided to spend her birthday money on it. Squealing and kissing the globe she got in line. When the cashier rang it up at 149.99, I told them of the mistake. The cashier grabbed the one of the signs from the same display, agreed with me and tried to override the price a couple times. It wouldn't allow the override so the cashier looked at some things and said that it must be for the other globes beside these ones with the same signage. The cost was $149.99. The cashiers were polite but firm about the price. Devastated, my little girl burst into tears in front of the long line-up of people. Crushing.
