Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by TP Motors regarding complaint ID ***.Sincerely,*** ***
Review: On February 24, 2014, Mr. [redacted] from TP Motors sold me a used Subaru Forester 2005 with [redacted] miles for $5200. Mr. [redacted] told me that I would get the title of the car in 2 or 3 days. On February 25, the car was returned because of a check engine light that needed to be fixed. After 30 days, Mr. [redacted] failed to deliver the car, the title, and to refund the money. Mr. [redacted] gave me his word that he would give me the money back. Unfortunately, he did not.Desired Settlement: I need my refund of $5200, as agreed by Mr. [redacted].
Review: I purchased this car through [redacted] that claimed he worked for TP Motors/Tirepool LLC. After receiving the car with temporary NJ plates issued through TP Motors which expired on May 24th, I still have yet to receive a title to register this car in my name. I contacted TP Motors owner [redacted] who claims this guy never worked for him. [redacted] told me that [redacted] purchased this car from him and a few days later requested that he register the car in his daughters name which turned out to be me. I have tried numerous times contacting both parties and seem to get no where. I am paying for car insurance on a vehicle I can no longer drive.Desired Settlement: I would either like this situation resolved by getting either the title for the vehicle or getting a full reimbursement plus insurance premiums paid and that are currently due.
Review: I purchased a 2006 X5 SUV from this company 5 months ago. I paid in cash and was told that the title would arrive shortly after the purchase. It has been 5 months and I have yet to receive the title. The individual who I purchased the car from ([redacted]) has given me the run around and lead me on for 5 months. He has told me frequently that it will be in by next week. Now, 20 weeks later and it is still not in. I am currently a student at [redacted] and I do not have time to call [redacted] 3-5 times a day, only to be ignored the majority of the time. The few instances that he actually does answer the call, he gives me false hope that the title is actually on its way. This business does not to what is ethically right and I am writing this to inform the Revdex.com of their dereliction of what they are required to do by law.Desired Settlement: I am still waiting for the title but informed [redacted] that we want our money back on the car. I have yet to hear back from him..
Review: I purchased a vehicle from [redacted] of TP Motors and was given a copy of the vehicle title and told the original would arrive shortly. It has been two months, and I have had to contact Mr. [redacted] for an extension on the temporary license each time it was about to expire. Mr. [redacted] has given excuses, such as the title was signed incorrectly and needed to be sent back. Most recently, Mr. [redacted] is in the hospital and will inform me of the title's whereabouts upon his release. I told him I would work with somebody else, but he did not respond. In fact, the more helpful I try to be, the quieter he becomes. Meanwhile, the third temporary license will expire on May 8.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the title to the vehicle I purchased. I paid the purchase price, I have the bill of sale, I have the car insured, and I would like to be able to go to my local DMV to pay taxes and registration on this car.
After filing my complaint with your bureau the dealer finally issued the title to the car I purchased from his dealership. Therefore it is resolved, and the complaint may be removed.
Thank you for your help. You are an invaluable organization, and I will always be grateful.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Review: I bought a car (Toyota Yaris 2012) from Tirepool Inc in Hackettstown, NJ on 12/20/14. Dealer gave me copy of Title and assured me that Original Title will come in mail in few weeks. He gave me temp. registration plates for one month. I started following up with him from second month and he started giving me new excuse every week. Last week (when he was picking up my phone) he gave me assurance that Original Title has been mailed on 5/19 and you will get it by 5/20, but till date I haven't received anything. Also, now he stopped picking up my phone and responding messages and e-mails.I can smell now that he is fraud and was just buying time from me. My last temp. registration has also expired on 5/10/14 and now that car is just parked in my garage and I can't use it untill either I get original title or new temp. reg. plates. I already have that car under insurance, so my premium of one month has gone to waste. While talking to him last time before 15/20 days, he was tellin that he moved to new facility in Newyork now. I don't know how can I get original title or my money back ??I am under tremendous pressure and couldn't sleep well since last so many weeks. Please do needful and find out that fraud and punish him for making the customers fool. Thanks[redacted]Desired Settlement: 1. Give me ORIGINAL Title OR2. Give my money back.
