June 24, 2015We have received a complaint from the Revdex.com of which we are aware and have discussed with our customerAccording to the complaint, and the paperwork you have on file, a trailer was left with T.PTrallers, Inc for its annual Pennsylvania State Safety InspectionThe Inspection was performed as requiredPrior to work being performed, the mechanics do a visual walk around inspection of the vehicles assigned to them, Our mechanic noted the dent in the rear door and reported it to our general manager as the shop foreman was absent on this dayThe general manager instructed the mechanic to perform the state inspection as assigned, and no call was generated to the customer because the damage did not look new, and no materials were found in or around the area where the trailer had been parked that could have caused this damage (an indentation approximately 2” x 6”).On Saturday 6-6-15, the customer came to pick up his trailer, and hooked it to his tow vehicleAt no time did the customer make a report of any damage to his trailer prior to leaving our facility, Any new damage would have surely been noticed by the customer when he checked his turn signals, stop lights, and marker lights as part of his pre-tow inspection. On Monday 6-8-15, the customer called to report a claim of damage to his trailerThe customer was referred to Ed Phillips who is our general manager, MrP [redacted] told the customer that the damage was present when we did the visual walk around prior to working on the trailer, and that it appeared to be old damage. All trailers and vehicles are carefully brought into and out of the working garage bays and parked securelyGiven the number of vehicles that come in and out of this facility daily, and the success rate of these vehicles leaving the premises undamaged, it is the opinion of T.PTrallers, Inc, that this damage was pre-existing.T.PTrallers, Incis a reputable company that has been in business for more than yearsWe support our customers and discuss I resolve reasonable issuesThis particular issue has a number of events associated with It that we do not believe warrant a reasonable request or complaint; foremost of which is that the customer did not call to report the claim until the following Monday morning even though he said he noticed the damage on Saturday afternoon, but was too busy to call us on SaturdayOur phones are on 24/and the customer could have easily left a message or called any of the cell phone numbers listed on our recording to report his claim In a timely mannerFurthermore, had the customer reported the damage prior to leaving our facility, this issue may have been resolved in a different manner whether or not T.PTrailers felt responsible for the damage as reported.Sincerely,Thomas (Tommy) P
