We are here because my contract is to paint the ceilings, walls and add new hardware to existing doors and cabinet doors*** *** then added a scope to the project we never agreed onHe had all the trim (woodgrain) removed and added new MDF to partial existing woodgrainA incomplete and
inferior way of redoing all the trimCosting many more hours of prep work, labor and most of all time and more money. We discussed options but he would not pay a fair price to the new added scopeSo no change order was made or agreed uponMy contract we agreed on has nothing to do with any painting or labor of trimNext we lost weeks of work because he did a huge remodel inside including electrical and plumbing without any permitsL&I issued a STOP WORK order So all work was halted for weeks and I lost out on three weeks work. When we were able to return to the jobsite he then tried to force me to complete all work within days, demanding I hire employees or he would complain to you the Revdex.com and L&I and then take legal action against meI refuse to be terrorized in this way.I completed to exterior of the house (part of the origional scope) and now he tries to do this to meAll my craigslist adds and my website clearly state I am an independent contractor and do not have employeesHe is also the firs complaint I have ever gotten and it is in many waysI will attach a copy of our agreement for you to view.By the way my contact email for my business is ***@comcast.net, easily found on my website http://www.tpgthatpainterguy.com Craigslist adds*** *** ***Again all clearly stating who and what I am in great detail

[redacted] I REJECT THIS Response for the following reasons. You’re crazy. You need medication. You need therapy. You are not going to strong-arm me into paying you anything, as it has nothing to do with our contract. The reason I left the project is simple, it is not at a stage for me to complete it. Had you had someone complete the trim portion you added to the project I would be in there finishing the ceilings and walls as promised. The fact that you continue to try to make me accountable for your senseless babblings about adding this and that when you have ZERO PROOF that I am accountable for such things clearly shows your instability. I will again retort with the following.A: The lights are not in my contract. I will not be held accountable for imaginary things you create in your complaint. Show me where it states I am accountable for them.B: The TRIM was not in my contract, please read what you have attached. I was to clean all trim and doors and cabinets (pre-existing) with Murphy’s oil soap. You changed this scope of the project (noted in section C,) that I am not accountable for.C: You had a stop work order placed. I was forced to leave the project after finishing the exterior. This is the time you changed things adding the trim. You also did not contact me about it until the trim was all changed; we then discussed numbers to complete them. We did not come to suitable arrangements, as it would take me to much time to complete this portion of the job. We simply never agreed to a number for completion, you never once told me I had to return you any money, you simply needed to GET THIS PART OF THE PROJECT COMPLETED, I told you to contact me when the trim and doors was done. This is also the time you were still considering changing the front door. You then continued to call me and try to make me accountable for the trim project, threatening me if I did not comply you would make trouble for me, well here we are. Below are more retorts to your complaint....please keep in mind we WALKED THE JOB WHEN FINISHED AND YOU PAID ME BECAUSE YOU WERE SATISFIED. Now you’re adding/changing things.1a; I did not finish the deck because you needed to have someone fix the legs as they were not up to code. ONCE FINISHED I will paint them. I do not have to paint them twice just to satisfy your delusional nature. As I see in the photo they are exactly the same as I left them...still unfinished. I never agreed to fix them as you would not pay extra labor or materials to do so.2a; Front door, again you never got to me on replacing the door or not, (Noted in section C) it’s in my contract to paint it as it states, But I should not have to paint it twice if you’re going to change it and then come at me to paint it again. Also you paying another contractor to paint it for no reason other than you’re trying to compensate yourself for something it’s in my contract to finish. Its communication error had you stated you were keeping the door I would have painted it.3a; a missed hole? I was supposed to caulk... is no problem for me again you paid me in full for the exterior, hiring another contractor to fill the hole is not necessary all you need to do is communicate with me but your still not doing this.4a; Again a missed small piece of trim was missed that was my fault and I will be happy to finish that for you. Its part of my guarantee you fail to take into account. Trying to back charge me 1500.00 dollars for this is just outright insane. I will not pay once cent of it all you needed to do was comply, and then contact me per our contract.[redacted] is simply trying to strong arm me to comply and I will not comply to his tactics. Had he followed the project as needed none of this would be happening. The fact he is still trying to do so is not going to move my intentions of completing my part of the project. His ramblings and adding more things each time we retort is also getting old, I imagine next I will be accountable to mow the lawn, do the dishes and take out the garbage simply because he says I agreed to do so.That Painter Guy Gary C[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I reject your response and here is response for items you have highlighted.Gary (TPG That Painter Guy LLC) have not bother to exterior finish  project, for which payment full payment was made , July 20, 2015. You promised to complete the following after 3 weeks from exterior and you never returned back, even after 75 days.1. Exterior front door paint was not completed, 2. Exterior Balcony was not completed, 3. Exterior Corner paint was not completed, 4. Exterior lights were never installed back. Even though you are not electrician, but you promised to get it done.5. Exterior pressure wash was not completed, 6. Exterior, second coat  of black railing was never completed. second coat was never done.I have attached additional pictures to prove above points. I did not attach previous pictures for missing paint on the whole deck/front door/missing paint on the exteriors corners.I already asked somebody to fix it for $1500 after waiting for more than 75 days. This is despite I paid full payment  to you for exterior paint. This has no relation to stop workRegarding interior painting,There is factual incorrectness in number of days for the stop work permit. The stop work was asked by city on July 15, 2015. We got the permits in hand on July 23, 2015. In fact Gary (TPG That Painter Guy LLC) worked even after stop work, which never impacted his exterior paint project and was paid payment on July 20, 2015, after he promised to return it and finish it after three weeks, which he never returned. No body is allowed to work on Sunday by the HOA, so we effectively lost about 3 days for stop work for paint project. I called you to start the work, but you said you would come back after 3 weeks.Regarding price for the interior/trim paint.Gary (TPG That Painter Guy LLC) just dis-appeared from job after Aug 31 ,2015 never returned from my calls/texts/emails from Sept 4, 2015 to Oct 4, 2015 Even though have I paid him deposit $2500 to for the job.Gary (TPG That Painter Guy LLC) in fact agreed to complete additional trim paint job for $2000 verbally, In Garry fact started work on Aug 31 with masking in one room and promised to complete it in 15 days, after he said he could not complete 5 days. There was no communication from Gary (TPG That Painter Guy LLC) side that there is dispute for the price, only communication was for the finish date on Sept 4, 2015 and not at all for any trim price.Gary only responded after, I submitted complaint Revdex.com that you dis-appeared with $2500.I lost 34 days in work from paint site from Aug 31, 2015 to Oct 4, 2015, and we have  incurred additional house carrying expenses of $8800/pm, with Gary's ((TPG That Painter Guy LLC) unplanned exit from the sceneTo resolve this,Pls pay the following expensesWe would need following payments/compensated made to us, I already given you previous notice on Oct 2, 2015,  Pls treat this as final notice to pay back following amounts by Oct 16. 2015.1.  $1500 for unfinished exterior project till date, for which 100% payment was made on July 20, 2015. You never returned to project even after 75 days.2.   Return $2500 deposit paid for the interior project. 3.   Compensate $8800/pm for house carrying cost from Aug 31, 2015 to Oct 4, 2015, These dates have no relation to stop work. Sincerely,[redacted]

Exterior, second coat  of black railing was never completed, To complete the unfinished exterior paint,we would be spending $1500 to finish the above unfinished exterior paint project, even though I have paid full payment  for the exterior project on July 20, 2015.There is factual incorrectness in number of days for the stop work permit. The stop work was asked by city on July 15, 2015. We got the permits in hand on July 23, 2015. No body is allowed to work on Sunday by the HOA, so we effectively lost about 3 days for stop work for paint project.
Regarding extra work Gary (TPG That Painter Guy LLC) in fact agreed to complete additional trim paint job for $2000 verbally, In Garry fact started work on Aug 31 with masking in one room and promised to complete it in 15 days, after he said he could not complete 5 days..
Gary then just dis-appeared from job after Aug 31 ,2015 never returned from my calls/texts/emails from Sept 4, 2015 to Oct 4, 2015 Even though have I paid him deposit $2500 to for the job.I lost 34 days in work from paint site from Aug 31, 2015 to Oct 4, 2015, and we have  incurred additional house carrying expenses of $8800/pm, with Gary's ((TPG That Painter Guy LLC) un planned exit from the scene
