Mr [redacted] turned in a day notice on May 1, indicating that he wanted to terminate his monmonth tenancy and move out on June 9, The lease that the [redacted] s signed is very clear as to what a month to month tenancy entails We could quote the entire Paragraph of the lease but this one line should suffice: "All month-to-month tenancies shall terminate on the last day of the month."If the Tenant's contract would have been sold to a qualified applicant during the month of June, the Tenant's rent would have been prorated from the date of the new leaseEven though the Tenant moved out on June 9, 2017, the lease officially terminated on June 30, The Tenant's deposit was processed and returned on July 21, This time frame complies with the lease and state law, as it was returned within days of the end of the contract
