Trace painted my truck and the day we got it back it was scratched so we took it back and were told by Trace his son scratched it washing it. He buffed it out but after that evey time the truck was washed it scratched more and more ..After multiple attempts to get Trace to resolve the problem all we got were excuses almost twenty to be exact. We finally took the truck to two other paint shops and a detailer and were told there was 0 - 3 mills of clear coat on parts of the truck Trace painted should be 4-8 mills, orange peel everywhere and the front bumper is already chipping to the primer..We got multiple lame excuses why this was happening from Trace but no resolution. Took truck to a detailer and had it corrected the best he could and ceramic coating. It cost us $1000 out of my pocket to at least remove scratches and protect it from happening again.. did not correct all the orange peel! Worst thing about this is Trace is my girlfriend's brother in law married to her sister so we are not just some joe off the streets to him! The total Trace charged to repair my truck was $18,022.73 $5,023.00 in labor and it cost me my $500 deductible and another$1000 tho have it buffed out and coated...Not at all satisfied with the work done or the lack of making it right ! We have a list of almost twenty excuses he gave us never once offered to fix the problem until we had already took it to a detailer..If there was nothing wrong with his paint job like he states then why would he offer to re paint it? We have also been receiving threats horrible phone calls and messages from Elly Trace's wife over our reviews. We highly recommend you do business elsewhere!
