A HORROR SHOW
I had a flip phone with tracphone for my husband. hes 76 years young and didnt like smart android phones. was told no more phone a few weeks ago.it was disabled by them. they tried to sell us a new phone. I refused.and they said no worries will send a new phone free of charge and free shipping. decent phone. motorrola...g...im 75 years old...worked for attorney generals offices...am very astute person for a senior...it was a nitemare..getting the phone activated...getting our 800 plus minutes ported to the same phone number...then I received an email stating I cancelled auto withdrawal which I did not. called ..another hour to wait on the phone. I cleaned my house while waiting (no lie or exagerration folks) was told I would get double minutes for a 500 minute phone plan 60 days , 26$ ...because my other plan was obselete now...I called back again..the minutes were not doubled.. and they said another rep they could not would not give them to me even though I had a confirmation number. they said they would email me...but I never get any emails from them for confirmation. I am not racist so anyone who accuses me of this on the forum beware! we are all Gods children..but I cannot understand half of what they say. most of the reps are in central america...they tell me they cant access m y account I have to do it on text messages or online to set up an account which I just did.
I was cheated out of the plan double minutes..was told they are doubled or tripled..
I noticed now instead of the end date being april 6th its june 6th. im so worried because this auto withdrawal was set up from my bank account..SHOULD I CANCEL OUT THIS BANK CARD WITH THEM...and just do auto refill online or from a store sigh. isnt there any way in the usa...we can address this bogus company...! I feel like getting in touch with a news reporter here to warn people. at my age this was so stressful. P.S. this is a locked phone..does that m ean I can not change carriers...and unlock the phone..thank you for whoever cares and wishes to write me back. my email is [email protected] thank you once again and God bless.

Tracfone is the worse cell phone customer service I have ever had to try and work withI received a letter stating that my cell phone was out of date and would not be able to work after 12/16/Unfortunately I have my monthly invoice charges on my credit cardSo when I contacted my credit card service to make sure no more charges were invoiced I was told that there was I called customer service (TRACFONE) was told that they would not refund or reverse the charges Since I had to call prior to the 16thI called today 17th and cancelled and NOW I got a confirmation noticed faxed stating my service was cancelled EFFECTIVE 02/17/17!! IF I WAS GIVEN WRITTEN NOTICE THAT MY SERVICE WAS GOING TO BE CANCELLED ON 12/16/WHY WOULD I HAVE TO CALL AND CANCEL IT? I DESERVE A TOTAL REFUND $THE FAX WHAT A TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERSTHE FAX STATES LAST DAY OF SERVICE 2/17/BUT THE PHONE WAS SHUT OFF 12/16/ BELIEVE ME I AM GOING TO TELL EVERYONE/ANYONE I TALK TO AND NOTIFY AARP WHAT TRACFONE DOES TO THEIR CUSTOMERS, EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR MONTHS SERVICE WHEN MY PHONE WAS SHUT OFF BECAUSE OF BEING NOT ABLE TO OPERATE TO STANDARDS

I think this company is the worst business I have ever dealth with I do not recommend anyone dealing with themThey play you around for along time and never do what they say they are going to doIt is rediculous plus you can't understand anyone you talk to hardly anyone speaks EnglisI am totally fed up with this businessDO NOT buy a Tracfone

I bought a Galaxy Centra a month ago and I've been on the phone with tech support at least once a week since then, if not moreI've probably spent hours talking to people, trying to get my phone working rightThey would get it working, but mess up my data or minutesThen I would call againThen my phone wouldn't call or text againThen I would call and they'd mess up my data and minutes again Every time I talked to someone they messed something else up THEN they changed my phone number, but messed up my minutes again! But they did FINALLY correct my data they had gotten wrong Basically it's been one f-up after another, and I couldn't get my number back

The customer service for this company is deplorable I lost my phone, called in to report it and spoke to a rep in Columbia, So America and could not understand this person Gave all pertinent info and was given a ticket # and told the phone would arrive in 4-days Nothing, Called back times and was told each time my address had to be verified Today, spoke to Corporate Office and once again told address not verified I once again gave my address and once again told the phone would ship in 4-work days This company is terrible to deal with and would not recommend the service to anyone

I bought a basic phone from the company and it did not work After spending almost minutes on the phone with them, they determined they couldn't fix it and would send a new phone The problem was it would take 7-buisness days I mentioned that would not be acceptable becasue it was for an elderly person who can't be without a phone for that long They told me they couldn't do anything and I would either have to deal with the time or just buy a new phone In other words they do not care how much of an inconvience it is deal with it or buy a new phone in store Spent over an hour on the phone in total and had two call backs just to get through the atempted problem solving to find out they couldn't do anything to "fix" the brand new phone Also you have to talk to a supervisor if you want to transfer your minutes from one tracfone to another, lower level workers refuse to do this when asked Would advise anyone not to use this company

I've been a customer with Tracfone since I just activated my iPhone using the Verizon BYOP SIM Card and my data would not workI was told I would have to wait hours for it to workIt still didn't workAfter this I've made calls to tracfone with over hours with technical support and multiple APN Updates, SIM card changes, Carrier Updates, Useless reboots and Software UpdatesEvery time they tell me it will after minites of keeping the phone off and then back onIT NEVER WORKS At last I asked a return for the amount of airtime I have so I can port my phone numberTo which they told me they cannot refund my moneyHOW IS IT MY FAULT YOUR SERVICE DOES NOT WORK FOR WHAT I PAID FOR? (This iPhone was used on Verizon and Sprint prior to Tracfone and it worked fine on both so the phone is not at fault.)

Have had a TracFone account for years, with few problems Starting last week, everything changed Last week, I couldn't text, and had a Google popup every five seconds, so I called Tech (an hour)and she fixed it, but erased ALL my data Spent 1/hrs restoring info The next morning I couldn't call out and the Google popup was back Another tech call (another hour) and fixed The next day, I couldn't call or text, so another call to the Tech center was made She worked on it (another hour) and seemed all set The next morning I made a long distance call and my friend said, "You have a new number?" Apparently, the tech had changed my number, without asking or disclosing This causes many problems as my cards and correspondence have the original number I called Tech Center again and she said I would have to wait two business days to get it changed back So this Monday morning I called Tech again and asked for a supervisor, who tried and then passed [redacted] on to several other supervisors(?) They said I couldn't have my old number back Had me remove the battery, reinstall, and numerous on and offs of the phone and holding for minutes, again and again (another hour) She said it was fixed I cannot call nor receive How many more hours and of time and frustration is worth the savings? Am thankful that I still have my landline phone How many years have I had it, without any problem!!!!!! I think an iphone and another carrier are in my future

THEY ARE HORRIFIC!!! HORRIBLE!! NIGHTMARES!!! "manager" LAUGHABLE!! SPEAKS NO ENGLISHâ ¦tells me she will NOT replace a ONE MONTH OLD PHONE that I purchased that since I purchased I have been texted NON stop from a number!!! CHANGED PHONE NUMBER!! an hour later after new number in effect TEXTING HAPPENS AGAIN!! IT IS THIS PHONE!! THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!

Beware..Make sure you PRINT OUT what your current balance is prior to beginning any change on your TRACFONE accountYou will need the record I ported my Verizon number over to my existing Tracfone...same phone, new number But because the phone got a new number, all the paid for minutes were deleted by Tracfone It has taken hours to get this fixedAnd over hour of that was on holdI have been transferred time I have tried their online chat while waiting on hold - that was unrewarding I have been "mistakenly" hung up on twice - and no, I was not being loud, vile or swearing - and in general given the run-around The last three people I talked with, [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] did end up being helpful, but it was not easy [redacted] tried to tell me to call back tomorrow - after hours, that was not something I wanted to hear So I got to talk to supervisor [redacted] , who finally was able to help me TracFone customer service is one of the worse I have ever experiencedYou can not get a phone number other than the main one, so if you get disconnected, you have to start all over The messages that the reps told me were in the system did not seem to travel with the transfers, as each one had to start over The phone itself is good, the reception is good, but don't expect much from their customer service and don't expect it to be either quick or easy

staff I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and shortDId not help me at all solve my issue kept giving me a run around time and time again going on months + and still have not solved my issueHorrible company and I will be switching once I get my phone replaced if that ever happens

I called Tracfone because my daughter lost her phone and I got her a new oneI tried switching everything online and it said I needed to callSo I called and got a woman who didn't speak very clearly to begin but was politeAnyway she transferred the number but said since I couldn't give her an estimated amount of minutes she couldn't transfer themI explained phone wasn't mine and was lost so I didn't know how to answer herAfter completing call I tried the online chat and got [redacted] who got the problem solved after a little digging and got my kid her minutes she paid for! Yay ***

Tracfone charged my credit card over times secretly, without providing any serviceWhen I happen to find out what they did, it took me hrs talking and waiting on the phone to get refund confirmation numbersThe thing is I don't even know if they are giving me the money backThey said it will take days to processLet's seeRobber!!!!!! So regret that I wasted so much time with them

I have read all six negative customer reviews on the Revdex.com website, and I completely agree with them They are SLOW SLOW SLOW to accomplish the simplest of tasks Twice they sent me text messages offering promotion codes for extra minutes, and both times I tried using the promo codes they didn't work Thus, each time I had to call Tracfone to have this resolved, and each time it took almost minutes to accomplish I had the same experience recently when I was transferring minutes from a friend's phone to mine The customer service rep literally came on the line about times and said, "just more minutes." As soon as I can afford a better carrier I'm dumping them

I used my online TracFone account to purchases additional minutes for my husband's phone Somehow, and I readily admit it could be my fault, the minutes were put on the wrong phone I tried the customer supports forums with no luckI emailed No luck I called the number and, after an extended period of time trying to get the rep to understand the problem and which phone the minutes belonged to, I gave up I called again today to try again and asked for the US number and the rep gave me her number I am so frustrated with these people You can keep the $ It will be worth it to not have to deal with your lack of customer service ever again

Net 10/TracFone makes no attempt to resolve issues with their airtime minute cards Every response is noted with "user agreement" says The issue I had was buying the wrong card for a smart phone $card) I guess the add minutes card is not valid for a smart phone and the only way to use the card I purchased was to get a different phone or sell the phone card in a back alley to another person They made no attempt to credit the minutes or dollar amount to the phone in question They make no effort to resolve problems and have an overall horrifying customer service department

Tracfone customer service is the absolute worst I have been trying for three weeks to get a phone number ported to tracfone and it is still not completedcustomer service keeps telling me to wait two more days, two more days, and now they have escalated it to business hours I have asked to speak with supervisors and managers but I'm sure they just pass me off to another customer service employeesSometimes I get disconnected during the so called transfers

We had a major problem with the sim card we got in the phone and we called customer service and they said they would send a new Sim card in to daysSo we waited nothing came in the mail we then call again and they said the Sim was sent to Florida I live in Pennsylvania how do you get those two mixed up I don't knowSo they said they would send us another one and once again still no sim .we called back again and they make a story saying my address wasn't realSo once again they said they would send it again but we have completely given up on tracfone and we can't believe they treat customers like that

I have had a few problems with tracfone over the years I find that when I call on the phone the customer service has not been the best....but I digress...Lately as I have tried to contact them I have used their contact on the computer service I have had great results using this service Typing to the representative has been effective for me and they usually have been able to resolve my issues quickly and in a timely manner I give them an out of

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life I have spent close to two hours today trying to get a replacement phone activated and it has cost me all the minutes - $worth - on my phone I have dealt with three different representatives, none of whom are able to speak clearly in English They cannot explain to me why I cannot send or receive calls on this new phone and said they will have to look further into it I had my old Tracfone for six years with no problems and now I have no phone - old or new -that works These are the rudest people When I asked whether they wanted thier phone sent back to them one of the reps told me to throw the new phone in the garbage if I didn't want it He said they didn't want it either Then he told me "our business is concluded here" it is safe to say I am done with Tracfone I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know will ever consider purchasing a phone from them
