I purchased a gun safe for my husband online. Placed my order and called to confirm my order. I was told that they currently did not have the safe in stock, even though it showed online that the safe was at their store. *** spoke to her manager and was advised that there was a glitch on the website and that they would have to order the safe and let us know when it arrives at the store. As soon as I hung up with her. *** the manager called my husband to let them know that our order was canceled due to the safe not being in the store, even though the website said it was. *** informed my husband that they hadn't had that particular safe in the store for the past three months. *** said that my husband could go back online and purchase the safe again at the higher price! I have pictures from the safe at the lower cost. When I went back on the website today, the safe was no longer showing store pick up and was at the higher price. This is not good business practice. I hope they order our safe and sale it to us at the sale price that was advertised on their website!
We did not have the safe in stock to which the customer was wanting due to inaccurate inventory so we corrected our inventory amount only, they claim that the price went back up after talking with my team member, we don't have access to changing the prices on our company web site. I did communicate to the husband that if he purchased it online and had it shipped to the store that we could refund them the safe after we received it and re ring it up for the lower price that they had screen shot. We cant currently order this safe, It is a online order only that is the reason I told them they would have to order it online and have it shipped to our store I have no problem with honoring the web price.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID. Our money was refunded to us. We ended up buying the safe from another Tractor Supply store.
