I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
They said they will look at my truck.I haven't had a chance to bring it in yet. Thanks!

We did send Mr*** a refund on his DMV on June but he did not cash the check. So I will refund him today. His registration is clear he has received a new registration but when he bought the vehicle DMV only charged us a transfer fee that's why we are refunding him the
difference

I have talked to Ms*** numorus times. We paid for the warrenty and were waiting for the refund to come back. We have paid the monies to her credit union as the vehicles is financed there. Attached is a copy of the check. A full refund of was sent

I am rejecting this response because:
yet to receive an apology from anyone from that dealership, after attempt of email explaining how upset I was never once received an apology.

I will contact customer and find out exactly what happened during her trip to Tracy Chevy.  From what I gathered it was a communication error between the customers and sales rep.  We will contact to see if they would like us to do anything further at this point.

The issue was resolved with Mr. [redacted] , Mr. [redacted] stated that he would take the complaint out of Revdex.com asap. please advise thank you very much and we always want to insure that all of our customers are happy. Mark Hashimi Tracy Chevrolet

Review: At the time of purchase in Nov of 2015, Chevrolet was offering a $700 [redacted] gift card when purchasing a new vehicle. I still don't have the card and the Dealership claims it was an internal error.Desired Settlement: Refund of $700

Review: We purchased a factory remanufactured transmission for $2,745.38 from Tracy Chevrolet, and installed it on to our truck. The truck would not move at all or go into any gear with new transmission. We called dealer and dealer said we need to have the truck towed to their facility to have the "TCM" transmission control module reprogrammed and so we did. The dealer then said it would cost approximately $800.00 for them to diagnose and reprogram the TCM, so we said yes. The dealer then called back and said the transmission is no good, and asked where we purchased it; I told them we purchased from their dealership. They then called back and said that we the customer must have damaged the transmission so they will not replace or refund. This truck never moved, not even an inch with this remanufactured transmission.Desired Settlement: Replace the $2,745.38 transmission that never worked, or refund monies.

Review: On February 16 2014 I spoke with [redacted] at Tracy Chevrolet regarding a 07 Tahoe I was interested in that I had seen on auto trader. At the time I was short on funds and wanted to make a $5000 down payment on the vehicle. I live in Marina ca 2 hours away from this dealership. I spoke with Mr [redacted] and we verbally agreed that when I arrived I would bring 2 blank checks, one check I wrote for $1000 which they would cash that day and another check I wrote for $5000 that they would cash 10 days later on February 26 2014. [redacted] told me he would discuss this issue with his manager to see if it was ok, he had me and my wife fill out a credit application everything panned out so he texted me to make the 2 hour drive based on our deal I hopped in my car with my wife and my 5 month old daughter. Everything went ok until we dealt with sales manager [redacted] not sure of his last name. He was extremley fast with handling the paperwork. I made the mistake of giving them a $5000 blank check which should of been $4000 dollars to be cashed february 26 , I was told by [redacted] who sold me the car to send in another blank check for 4000$ and they would shred the $5000 check, long story short I was contacted my [redacted] and he suggested he shred the $4000 check and they will send me $1000 dollar check which I havent receved yet. Now here's the issue they went behind my back and cashed the $5000 check on Feb 21 5 days earlier then we agreed, I am overdrawn in my account, was stuck at home with 2 kids and not a dime in my pocket, 3 late bills due to this issue. Im very upset I got deceived by both [redacted] and Sales Manager [redacted]. I need this taken care of please, this is not right at allDesired Settlement: I was did wrong and deserve to have my late fees payed plus my overdraw bill payed.

The customer brought in another check to replace the $4,000 bounced check that was given to us. Our sales manager has been in contact with this customer since this time. Our manager has promised to give him free oil changes/ or something else of his choosing.

Review: Hello. First off, I must say that I am very happy with my car I bought at tracy Chevrolet. The salesman was a super nice guy and gave me a great deal. I wish I remember his name. The issue I have is minor, yet important. The car I bought has a bad computer. I know that computers are tricky things, but this dealership knew about this issue. Before the test drive, the battery was dead. No sweat, the salesman told me someone left the light on. I would have said the same thing because we all assume that. The problem I later found out is that tr brake lights turn on automatically. I later discovered it is an issue with the sensor. Today, my check engine light came on. My speedometer stopped working. My trusted mechanic told me that it is an issue with the computer and to call them. I know I bought it as is and I understand what that means. I figured that I would take my problem here and hope that this wonderful dealership will help me out. I don't want to negatively affect anyone. Stay positive. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Please repair the computer free of charge.

Review: I have been trying to get answers to a series of questions associated with the purchase of a used vehicle and I've not been able to get a response for almost six weeks now. Here's a summary:The vehicle (2006 Avalanche) was delivered to me in TX on October 17. That same day I called my salesman ([redacted]) and left a message that I had a few questions; no response. On October 18, I called and left a detailed message for my salesman ([redacted]) with the following questions (no response):- how many sets of keys were sent with the truck?- why did I not get a temporary registration/license plate?- what do I do with the notarized document and when will I get the title?- who is administering the loan and when is the first payment due?Called again on Oct 20 and left another message for [redacted] (no response)Called again on Oct 21 and left another message for [redacted] (no response)Called again on Oct 22 and spoke with the receptionist and asked to speak with [redacted]'s supervisor - she replied that no such person exists. I then asked to speak with any available salesman; [redacted] answered and said that there was nothing he could do. Called again on Nov 21 and left a message for the finance dept ((888) 925-2559)(no response)Called the TX [redacted] on Nov 25 to find out if there was a different way to get a vehicle registered in TX - they said that I need the actual title from California to get the vehicle registered in TX. The TX [redacted] suggested calling and complaining to the CA [redacted] and CA Revdex.comI simply cannot believe that any business would conduct themselves this way. It should not be hard to tell me who is administering my loan and the vehicle title should be provided automatically as it is critical to the transaction.Desired Settlement: I want an immediate answer to my questions. And, I need the title immediately; I cannot get the vehicle registered in TX without the title and withholding it is interfering with my use and enjoyment of the vehicle.Additionally, if a payment is due, as [redacted] refused to tell me who was administering the load and they impeded my ability to get the vehicle registered (title), they should be responsible for making all payments until they provide both pieces of information.

Review: Purchased a used vehicle from Tracy Chevrolet. Within 1 week after purchase I noticed rust starting and the coating on the frame flaking off. They claim that this is normal. After further research on my part, I found that model year has manufacturing issues on the coating on the frame and [redacted] has a repair bulletin for it. After the dealership having my vehicle for a month and a half, and no return phone calls from my numerous messages I stop by the body shop doing the repairs. They explained to me the repair they were instructed to perform will not resolve the issues. I then explained that to the dealership. They claimed they would look into it. After another two weeks and no returned phone calls I went back to the dealership and inspected the vehicle. Both the service manager and u determined the repairs are unacceptable. They said they would contact me on a resolution. After four days without a phone call I stopped by the dealership to find my vehicle is for sale on there lot. There was no sale discussed and the vehicle was still in my name. My personal belongings removed from the vehicle. After my frustration, we then discussed how the are handling the return of my money and responsibility. They then explain to me, we don't need a bill of sale, sale amount back to them to be accurate and I don't need to verify what the payoff balance is. The employee found it abserd that I didn't know the exact payoff, but yet it didn't need to be listed on any agreement. Now I have left the owner two messages to discuss this issue with him and once again, I have not received a return phone call. I have more to write and tell about this experience, but am limited on characters I can type.Desired Settlement: I will be looking for unresolved monetary repayment such as the insurance cost in endured as well as other costs/expenses. Also would like disaplinary actions taken against the dealership for these practices as well as additional ones I have not explained above due to characters limitations.

Review: I had started talking to this dealership about a week about regarding a truck I was interested in. The salesman JoJo was helpful but the manager, [redacted], was completely ruthless. Since I live in San Diego and the dealership is 7 hours north I wasn't going to be able to go get the truck for another 5 days when I started talking to them. They expressed to me they would see if I qualified to buy it and if I did they would hold it for me with a down payment. A few days later JoJo told me that I had qualified but there was another person who wanted to come look at the truck. [redacted] only cared about selling it to the quickest person and said that if this new person wanted it they could buy it, completely going back on his word about telling me they would hold it for be me because qualified. I am in the U.S Army and I was at training when this occurred, they were in contact with my mother and I felt completely betrayed,It's nice to know I serve my country to protect people like this, scammers... Now that my name has been run through every bank known to man and did not get a vehicle out of it. I am forced to wait for my credit score to go back up until I try again. They completely tanked my credit and credibility. This manager should lose his job!Desired Settlement: Since I cannot receive anything from this problem, I wood like a phone call from the manager to apologize and I think the owner should fire him immediately.

Review: Bought a certified used 2011 Chevy HHR from Tracy Chevrolet on 03/18/2012, this vehicle had 35266 miles on it, during the finance process we were dealing with [redacted] who is the finance manager, she pressured us into buying a protection plan (to find out during this process that we did not need and is a practice that dealers use to scam customers)for an extra $1850 dollars, at first we were skeptical, we questioned it, and were told that the vehicle would be covered for an extra 4 years and 80,000 miles, so we did it, I never received a booklet for this and when I took it for a service, they told me that I was only covered to 50,000 miles, or until 12/20/2014, this means I bought a protection plan for $1850 that only gives me less than 15,000 miles r 2 years, I called Tracy Chevrolet, and talked to [redacted] she said she would fix this problem, I received a booklet for my coverage and it said covered to 12/20/2014 and 80,000 miles, still not the right coverage, I have called, left messages, faxed paperwork to [redacted], and it is all ways the same, she seems like a nice person and you think that she is going to do it, but it just never happens, and I am burned out on trying anymore!Desired Settlement: [redacted] needs to call the GM protection plan and tell them to change the coverage on my Major Guard protection plan from 12/20/2014 and 80,000 miles to 03/18/2016 and 115,xxx miles and have them send me the booklet,The last time I took it for a service, I was told I needed a repair done on it, and that my coverage expired, I need this ASAP to get the repair done, and to make things worse my car has been recalled, anyways all I want is what I was told I would get, and paid for!

Response:

We received a fax regarding the customers complaint on 4/18/2014. Our finance director tried to call the customer to assist in correcting the warranty, but they did not leave a phone number on the fax, and the phone number we had on file was disconnected. The customer finally contacted us back on 5/7/14, and at that point, we contacted GM and they extended the expiration date of the warranty to 12/20/2014. We are still working with GM to correct the expiration date to reflect 12/20/2016.

Review: At the time of purchase of a new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, I requested a different front grill be installed on the truck (black). I was charged $400 (separate charge on the contract) for a NEW grill and Tracy Chevrolet was supposed to order it and install it. I received a call a couple weeks later that the grill was there and to bring the vehicle in. When I arrived they informed me they were going to take my grill off and swap it with another vehicle. This was NOT the agreement. I told them I don't want to a swap, just give me my $400 back. The salesman stated that the swap was part of the deal... a complete lie. Now they will not return any messages nor issue a refund.Desired Settlement: Refund $400

Consumer

Response:

This issue has been resolved. They sent me a check for the $400.
