speaking with our receptionist and being assured his inquiry would be responded to quickly, he repeatedly contacted us until we dropped our current assignments to return his callWhen we informed him that we did not have availability within our calendar for an urgent matter, he began complaining and insisted on a meeting with Tracy at her earliest convenience as he received a very positive recommendation from one of his friendsAfter discussing the matter with Tracy, we determined we would be able to offer a paid consultation fora fee of $This amount could be used towards the balance of future work if we moved forward with his matterWe conveyed this information via email and received a confirmation from ***that he would like to set it upWe have enclosed a copy of the email chain with this letter.Throughout the intake process, *** continued to demonstrate questionable behavior.Though he apologized that "we got off on the wrong foot', he assured us that we would have a positive working relationshipHe blamed his frustration on the government and said he was surprised it was so difficult to hire a 'dime a dozen lawyer"Further, it was clear that he did not have appropriate expectations based on the requested scope of workHe was opposed to learning about our on boarding procedures and sent multiple emails lecturing us that he "does not are to hear a history lesson" and that it is our job to "deliver the baby" and "absorb the pain".After receiving multiple emails with this tone, we continued to question whether we would be able to work with such a hostile individualAs such, Tracy requested that I cancel the meeting to save Mr*** his time and moneyUpon informing Mr*** of our decision, he began to scream loudly, accused us of poor communication and a lack of professionalism, threatened us with a lawsuit and told us he will be arriving at our office at the scheduled time.After learning of her husband's inappropriate behavior, Mrs*** called Tracy in an attempt to deescalate the situation and keep the meeting on the calendarTracy explained that she did not want to meet with Mr*** as the professional relationship had significantly deteriorated Mrs*** insisted on working with our firm and assured Tracy that she could serve as the sole point of contactTracy hesitantly agreed to hold the scheduled meeting.Tracy began the meeting by stressing the fact that she did not believe we would be a good fit for Mr***At this point, we had attempted to disengage Mr *** a total of four times.Mrand Mrs*** insisted that they work with us because they valued our good reputation.Despite her concerns, Tracy agreed to work on a few trial projects to determine if we could salvage the relationshipEven though Mr*** was belligerent and hostile, Tracy decided to work with this client because he was having a lot of difficulty obtaining legal assistance and she has a firm belief that all individuals deserve high quality and affordable legal supportTo provide background on our fees, our legal fee far forming a professional business entity has recently changed from $to $As our receptionist quoted $during the initial contact, Tracy decided to honor this priceThe quote of $5,was for a significantly different scope of work, Including reading his entire book and providing legal opinions to review with his publishers and potential retailers who may have liability concerns given the content.As Mr*** agreed to the fee and demanded a meeting with Tracy after our four attempts to disengage him, we sent him the invoice for the meetingWhile he did decide not to engage us for the quoted work, we completed Ollrlask and provided more than an hour of valuable legal advice that he can use Please let us know if you require anything further.Christopher ***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below..I contacted the law firm one time via phone and then sent an Email requesting more information. The firm disseminated this as repeated calling, I disagree. The day of the meeting I sent an Email outlining my needs in regard to my book. I received a call shortly afterwards canceling the meeting.My wife, as I stated earlier is managing my affairs, called to complain of the meeting cancellation and asked if she could meet with Tracy Jong. Any negotiation for payment was lost when the meeting was canceled. The $250.00 fee was mentioned as an initial fee to get the tools in place for my book, IE: The Copy Write and the S-Corp.My wife asked to meet with Tracy to discuss the unprofessional behavior of her staff. This was never part of any paid service. I will not be making any payment on a trumped up charge. There is no service this law firm has performed for me.
