As stated by Mr [redacted], following the electrician's first visit on June 23, 1014, and saying that the electric was ok, the decision to replace the indoor fan coil was made.  The existing fan coil was very old and the new one was installed to match the outdoor condenser that was...

installed in July of 2011.  A 10 year parts warranty came with the new fan coil.  
Once the new unit was installed and still had electrical issues, the electrician return and replaced a disconnect box. A discussion with Mr [redacted] followed to either re-install the old unit or leave in the new one with all the new warranties.  A $250 discount was offered and accepted to leave the new fan coil in place.   After 4 months of non-payment, a followup call proved fruitless.  It is our understanding that Mr [redacted] hasnt paid the electrician for their work either. 
Mr. [redacted] still maintains that he is planning to pay the discounted $1150.  Again, he had an opportunity to have his old unit reinstalled, but chose to go ahead with the new one to have warranty and fewer service calls.  That decision and the acceptance of the $250 discount gave all appearances that he would make payment for our work and materials.  Hopefully this can be resolved quickly or the discount offer will be withdrawn and collection eefforts will begin.
