We NEVER received that email back from App builder on the *** of October or any day after our attempt to cancelI have checked my inbox, spam, trash AND entire server for a response from them regarding canceling and it was NEVER receivedIf it had been received, we would have taken the steps in which they indicated in the email to cancelWe understand that different companies have different requirements for canceling trialsWe prefer to cancel via email so there is a paper trailWe would have canceled the way they require if we had received the email that showed in their response.

At App Builder Online we pride ourselves with NOT having to lock members down to any long term contracts.  We have a month to month membership.  All members can cancel their account at any time, simply by logging into their account.  This is exactly the same way members sign up for...

our service also.  An email or phone call is NOT an approved way to cancel.  For your security, our staff does not have the ability to close your account, as we do not have your password.  Only you can close an account online by using your password.  To prevent fraud, we have this option to accurately complete the change the member is requesting.
We replied to your email on Oct **, 2015 below are the details.

Hello,

Please confirm that you understand the following:

1.            If you cancel your account, you will lose your App Name ( Dawn Berard Realtor ) forever and some else will be able to register it.   If we cancel your account, you will NOT be able to get your name in the App Store EVER again.  Apple does not like the idea of apps being listed in the app store and then a few days later they are removed.  This is the reason you will lose your name in the app store for ever.  Someone else might be able to register your name if this is done.

2.            Apple does not like Apps coming in and out of the App Store.  This is the reason that they will ban you form ever having another App in the App Store.

Are you using Push Notifications to generate leads???

We have a new feature called Push Notifications.

Engage Customers with Push Notifications, companies large and small are sending eye-catching Push Notifications, which have been proven to reach customers where they are: on their phones. Push Notifications appear as Text Messages, and your company can send them – for free .  Our customers use Push Notifications to tell their customers about events, open house, new listings, launches, grand openings, and more. Your business can too!

Push Notifications are easier to send than email, and they don’t end up in spam boxes. Studies show that nearly 100% of text messages are opened and responded to within 60 minutes. That's why Push Notifications are so essential to an effective mobile strategy.

Could you please let us know the reason for your cancellation?

Just like domain names, App name in the App store are unique.  If you cancel your account, you will lose your App Name for ever and some else will be able to register it. Right now there is a rush to secure a premium name in the App Store.  For example the name "Chicago Real Estate" is still available.  For only $29 you are able to secure a premium name like this before someone else takes it. The App is able to generate leads for you. For example if someone types the word Chicago in the app store if they are looking for Chicago Restaurant, you App will also get listed because the name starts with the word Chicago.  A premium App Name  like Chicago Real Estate gets about 50-70 download per day.  The trend now is towards the App Store and away from website.  Everyone is buying iPad, iPhone and Android.  If you do not have an App you are NOT reaching these clients.

Our apps our 100% customized to you.  We do not make template apps.  All apps can be made to look and do whatever you like.  The app is very flexible, please let us know if there is any other functionality you would like for the app.

If you still want to cancel your account, log into your account and click delete for your App.  This will stop your billing.

We look forward to seeing your app!

Thanks and Happy App Building!                                         ...

I have cancelled services with this provider charging me $54 per month to "host" an app as I was told if I did not do so after they created the app I would be "banned from the Apple Store."
After speaking with Apple and renewing my app in their store I was told there was no need for me to pay an outside company to "host" my app.
I called and told App Buikder Online I was cancelling any relationship with them as they lied and they continued to bill me; I've had to cancel the credit card and they keep contacting me via text and fax but will no longer take or return any of my calls.
There is no contract in place and they have taken advantage of me for an entire year on a monthly basis.
This is a scam and do not be taken advantage of.
They do not own your app; you do.

Review: I requested a cancellation of this service back in the spring in writing and they continue to harass me for monthly payments and refuse to resolve. This company's product (building a smartphone app) didn't work properly from the beginning. After attempting to fix the product issue, I decided to cancel the service when problems weren't resolved. I told them in writing that I would like to cancel the service in March of this year. They continue to try to charge me monthly to this day. They say I have to pay all money 'owing' to them before I can cancel online. Like I already said...I told them I was canceling months ago. They refuse to co-operate with me on this and have been sending me emails, texts, phone messages ever since. When I respond, they ignore the issue. I feel they're just running up their bill and aren't interested in my issue at all. They are also constantly faxing my office (which I don't actually use) causing the secretary much annoyance. I asked them to at least stop this and they have not.Desired Settlement: -A cancelation of my service and accumulated bill (since I made it clear I wanted to cancel in March). -A stop to the harassing faxes which they know aren't going to me.

Review: On Dec **, 2014, I searched the APP BUILDER website, from World Trade Corporation. I wanted to see what the APP was they had to offer. I had to enter my debit card information in order to proceed as I did not know what the charge for the service would be. After entering the information, I subsequently decided not to proceed with their service. I sent an e.mail within the hour to advise not to process any payment. Other than an auto-respond e.mail, I never heard from the company. On Jan [redacted], as I was reviewing my bank statement, I noticed two charges on my account to World Trade Corporation, (Ontario.) The two charges were both small amounts, but are clearly indicative of their seeking to see if my bank account info is valid. I sent another e.mail to them advising them to cease and have contacted my bank to file a fraud complaint against them.Desired Settlement: I desire World Trade Corporation to honor my demand to cease any and all activity connected with me and to not seek to debit my account any further.

Review: In June of 2012, I was sent an email advertising the opportunity to purchase an online APP from App Builder Online that would be broadcast to Smartphones in regard to real estate in Florida. The price was $32/month. I proceeded to provide my charge card info as requested. I clicked SUBMIT but then another screen popped up indicating that in order to purchase this software product, I had to pay an additional $100 for an Apple Account, and once I had that account I was to provide them with the username and password and they would set up my APP. I refused to continue because I was not notified before I purchased that there would be this additional charge and that they would want my username and password. I already had an Apple account and did not want another one or one that Trade World could access at will. I called them to cancel the purchase and faxed them a cancellation as a follow up. From that time forward, they continued to charge my Visa $32/month. Each month for a year (ending in June 2013) I disputed the charge with Visa and Visa received no response from Trade World so my account was credited back each month (during this time the monthly fee went up to $39/month). Finally, out of frustration in having to go through this process each month, I asked Visa what I could do and they said they would report my card as a fraudulently used one and issue me a new charge number. At that point I started to receive regular phone calls, emails and text messages indicating that my charge card had been denied. Trade World never disputed the charge when Visa submitted a dispute, but once my number was changed, the harassment began. About every other week I receive voicemail, text messages and emails notifying me that my card has been denied. I finally called Trade World ([redacted]) and was told to go to the site to rectify the situation. I tried to do that; however, the first screen the comes up is one asking for a new charge card number, which I will not provide to this Company so I continue to receive harassing notices.Desired Settlement: The business should be sanctioned against harrassing communications. Their website is not user friendly. As a matter of fact, [redacted] told me to go to the site to bring about a cancellation knowing full well that I would come to the screen asking for a new charge card number. Other professionals who are interested in purchasing an APP for Smartphones shouldn't have to go through this

Review: Since March of 2015, I have been charged $40 a month on my credit card. The name of the business on my credit card was Trade World Corporation. I had no idea who they were or how to contact them. I contacted my credit card company to see if they could find out what I was being charged for. Since I had no idea who they were, my credit company advised me to close my account and file fraud charges. [redacted] investigated the transactions and found it was not fraud. [redacted] was able to find out it was for a product called [redacted]. Because my credit card was canceled, Trade World was not able to charge my card for the month of September. In the meantime, I still did not know who Trade World was as it took [redacted] 30 days to find out it was for AppBuilder.

Trade World began harassing me a few weeks ago, texting me 2-3 times a day and emailing me once a day and calling me every few days. I responded to their first message by letting them know I had no idea who they were and what I was being charged for. They did not respond for a couple weeks. I have copies of my correspondence with them. They finally told me it was for AppBuilder.

Back in March, I signed up for a free trial with AppBuilder. I have no technology skills. They advertised one could upload and use this product with no computer skills. I never could figure it out and did not know what to do with it. Once I found out the charges were for AppBuilder, I figured out what happened.

Had I known the first charge in March was for AppBuilder, I would have contacted them and canceled the product. Because I had no clue who Trade World was, I was not given that opportunity to cancel and they continued to charge me. If September is included, we are talking about fees in the amount of close to $300.

Trade World (now contacting me as both Trade World and AppBuilder) has not only been harassing me with numerous calls, emails and text messages they have been threatening to report me to the credit bureau and ruin my credit. I tried to cancel my account numerous times and they refuse to cancel it until I pay for September.

Now, I am between a rock and a hard place. If I do not pay for September, they will continue to charge me even though I requested to cancel. They brag and advertise there is no contract and can cancel any time.

This does not make any sense to me. Because of principal alone, they owe me money and I owe them nothing. I really need help in making this right. Trade World also brags that they have a relationship with Apple and they will make sure Apple will never allow me to purchase another product from them.

I would like to send you all my correspondence with Trade World/AppBuilder so you have some idea of how they treat their customers. I decided to start with the Revdex.com before I start blasting them all over the internet.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of all charges from March through August.

I do not feel obligated to pay for September and want the company to stop harassing me.

I do not want anything reported to the credit bureau as they created this issue.
