As per the previous resident's request, we are unable to remove any balance(s) on the account due to the eviction status It appears that the property received judgement for rent We provide receipts to residents but do not keep any receipts If you have a copy of a receipt for the rent you stated you paid, please provide us with a copy and we would be more than happy to research this further

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, the best [redacted] This is unfair and completely untrue because the vehicle was completely operable up until 10/days before illegally being towed I drove it to and from work every day for over a year up until the last week of February of when I purchased another vehicle I was still in the process of buying the vehicle that was towed through a friend of mine The AptMgr was aware the car was being towed and I was told through the [redacted] Police Deptshe is the one who approved it.....yet without letting me know which was and is illegalIt was registered with the office and all vehicle information was provided on my lease as well So legally, I have a case and will pursue it

I am rejecting this response because: The contract states the funds are applied towards a security deposit but not truly a depositIn addition, the contract states the fees may or may mot be refundedMy mother in law was declined for the apartment and received a phone call advising of the denialWhy would a company a deposit other that an application and administration fees? I can imagine how many people this company screws over using this same baiting tactic

As we cannot provide information about an applicant or a resident due to the privacy policy, we can provide information on the application process. When an applicant applies for an apartment, they must pay a security deposit (amount varies depending on the floorplan type), a nonrefundable
application fee, and a nonrefundable administrative fee. The application and application fees do not guarantee an applicant will be approved. Leaving the application and application fees reserves the apartment for them with the condition the applicant is approved. We cannot guarantee an applicant is approved without processing their application. If for any reason an application is denied due to falsification, the security deposit in non-refundable as stated on the application. In addition, applicants are given a Privacy Policy and Qualifying Criteria form to be signed so they are aware of our qualifying guidelines before applying

The concern has been cleared up with the resident so there is no need for any further written statements to be sent by Vista Del Rey

All residents sign a lease agreement which indicate reasons why a vehicle can be towed.  In addition, there is a parking addendum that all residents sign indicating reasons why a vehicle can be towed.  We were not notified from the towing company that this vehicle was towed, therefore the...

leasing agent was unaware of the incident when asked.  After reaching out to the tow company, it was advised to us that vehicle was towed as it was inoperable.  The vehicle had damage to the rear bumper, no rear windshield, and was advised they could tell it was inoperable as it had not been moved for a period of time.  The vehicle was not towed due to not being registered in our system, it was towed due to it being inoperable.  Unfortunately, we are unable to release a resident due to their vehicle being towed.

I apologize in the delay but I wanted to ensure I had all the information gathered. [redacted] had applied at our property on 04/12/17, they emailed me on 04/24/17 that they wanted to cancel their application. We agreed to refund their deposit and informed them that they would receive it within...

30 days. In the email dated 04/25/17, they were supposed to give  an updated forwarding address and they failed to provide me with one.Therefore, as normal practice the check was mailed out to the address they provided on the application. We sent out the final account statement and the refund check however, both items were returned. The checks are sent from New Jersey where our corporate office is located and she has reached out to me letting me know she is sending us the check and we should have it by tomorrow, Thursday, July 20, 2017. I have reached out to the resident via email to let them know that we will have their check. Again, we did everything on our end to ensure this refund was processed accordingly.Unfortunately, Cameron Brow failed to provide us with an accurate address so it has elongated the process. I have attached copies of the returned envelope.Thank you for your time and please let me know if there is anything else you need from me.[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Yes I went to court and judement was for just over a $1000. Then I see this $3860 on my credit. False information. They filled  eviction and I wasn't living there. They are lying they never provided a reciept for rent. Had I not been in contact with Fair Housing I wouldn't have know about this. Now I have no problem taking them to court. I want them to show a Judge a copy of a reciept book. Showing they gave me a receipt. They will never and I mean never get $3860 from me. I am so sick of people siding with apartment people and they are just putting people further in debt. Not today. Not from me.

Dear [redacted],     I understand that the break in the plumbing line caused yourself and all of our resident an inconvenience, and when we do have work scheduled that will require water to be shut off we make every effort to communicate with the community in order to make...

arrangement.  Unfortunately, the line break was an unexpected situation that happened and in order to complete repairs, it did require all water to be shut off.  I know when situations, such as water shut off happen it can cause other problems like a restriction in water flow and restriction of the flow of hot water.  Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that we will never encounter a situation like this again, however, I can ensure that my stuff works, professionally and efficiently to correct situations like this.

Mgr was aware the car was being towed and I was told through the [redacted] Police Dept. she is the one who approved it.....yet without letting me know which was and is illegal.
