Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
The response from the claimant is as expectedThey use deception advertising to get customers to use their serviceThe full term I wanted an explanation for was "No hassle day Test Drive"To say that "no hassle"means that a subscriber can cancel at any time is a complete jokeFurthermore, they did not explain what they mean by "Test Drive"Any reasonable and honest person knows that "Test Drive" implies a guarantee of performance or satisfactionIf a local Car Dealer offers a "Day Test Drive"that means that if you are not satisfied with the vehicle that you can return it for a full refundThat is common senseMy hope is that Traders Reserve admits that the term they use is deceptive and and stops using it in order to secure business

Below please find Traders Reserve, LLC’s response to Revdex.com Complaint Number ***.Traders Reserve, LLC, is a publisher of educational & advisory subscription services for self-directed investors. All Traders Reserve products and subscription-based services are provided on a non-refundable
basis.Cancellations must be received prior to recurring subscription payment processingThese terms are a condition of sale and listed on the online order form that subscribers complete & submit to make a purchase from Traders Reserve, LLC.Purchasers cannot submit a transaction without the purchaser first manually accepting the terms and conditions for the saleThis prevents purchasers from ordering without understanding and accepting the clear conditions of the purchase.Claimant has agreed previously to the same non-refundable terms of purchase during online purchase for multiple products from Traders Reserve:On 07/01/2014, Claimant purchased a one-time, non-refundable self-education programFor $7.95, claimant receives lifetime access to Weekly Options, an online video, PDF video slides, and several Excel worksheets. On 11/20/2015, Claimant purchased two, one-time, non-refundable self-education programsFor $34.95, claimant purchased lifetime access to Investors Blueprint Live recordings and educational tools from the conference. On 01/11/2016, Claimant purchased a non-refundable day subscription to Covered Call BlueprintThe Terms & Conditions on the sales page are listed as follows:"You agree that you are purchasing days of access to "Covered Call Blueprint" for $Once purchased and your credit card has been charged, this order is non-refundable.This is a recurring charge to your credit cardYou will be charged $each month until you cancel your membershipPrevious charges won’t be refundedYou may cancel your membership at anytime. To cancel a membership, simply email Customer Care at [email protected] and include your name, phone number and email address. Please allow up to business days to process a cancellation."Verification of terms and conditions, and verification of the inability of a purchaser to complete a purchase without accepting said terms and conditions may be proven through the following order form page, which is the same order form and same webpage claimant used to complete claimant's purchase:https://***.com/startTerms and conditions are prominently displayed within the confines of the order form; neither are the terms and conditions difficult to find, nor difficult to read.Terms and Conditions are also provided by Traders Reserve in larger font size (point) to ensure readability on the part of any purchaser and so as to protect against any claim of fine print. It should be noted that acceptance of the terms and conditions must occur prior to the completion of the purchase.Terms and conditions must be accepted prior to purchaser accessing the credit card entry form.Terms and conditions must be accepted prior to purchaser entering any credit card informationAny attempt to advance in the purchase process without having first manually accepted said terms and conditions results in a highlighted yellow bar appearing across the line"I accept the below terms & conditions," thereby drawing the purchaser's attention both to the terms and conditions themselves and to the requirement for checking the button provided.Additionally, the terms and conditions also appear on the invoice which is presented to all purchasers, including claimant, upon completion of purchase.Validation of No-HassleOn January 31, 2016, Claimant correctly emailed Traders Reserve Customer Care through the support email address provided to request to cancel the day, non-refundable Covered Call Blueprint subscription.Claimant's cancellation request was processed correctly by Traders Reserve Customer Care. The originating subscription, January 11, was valid until February 11, 2016.Claimant's cancellation ended any future billing; claimant's access to the product/service remained valid until the conclusion of the Day Trial Period, February 11, 2016, at which time, claimant's access was appropriately ended.Claimant’s request for a refund of a non-refundable subscription fee was not approved and was explained by redirecting claimant's attention to the terms and conditions of the originating purchase.Claimant's objection refers to the statement of a No-Hassle Test DriveBy definition, No Hassle means "to remove the burden of" and implies no further nor future obligation.Furthermore, Traders Reserve's "No Hassle" policy refers to the simplicity by which any subscriber may end their subscription, which, as stated in the terms and conditions says, "To cancel a membership, simply email Customer Care at [email protected]..."That cancellation process, by its very definition, is "No-hassle." Traders Reserve 'removes the burden' from purchasers of future billing exposure by simplifying the cancellation processTraders Reserve met its obligations by immediately processing claimaint's cancellation and by not billing claimant again. At no time and in no place does Traders Reserve's marketing make any specific or implied reference to a "Money Back Guarantee."Claimants objection over the use of the words No-Hassle is claimant's attempt to manipulate language for the purpose of obtaining a refund where no refund was promised, guaranteed nor was any refund warranted.Claimant had the option NOT to complete this purchase upon reviewing the clearly stated and placed Terms and Conditions.Claimant chose to complete this purchase having accepted said terms and conditions by actively checking the button provided, which clearly states, "I accept the below terms & conditions."Claimant further had the option of contacting Traders Reserve prior to completing the purchase via the same email address provided in said Terms and ConditionsClaimant did not make any attempt to clarify the terms and conditions prior to completing the purchase.Because of these facts, Claimant cannot state that Traders Reserve is engaged in deceptive advertising.Kind regards,Leslie S*Traders Reserve Customer Care
