To whom it may concern ; I am writing to you in response to a complaint written against me ( Ordunez Builders ) on 03/18/I will respond to all of her complaints in order that they appear on her statement . first one will be about Ordunez Builders trying to do an
overlay We never discussed anything about doing an overlay we did mention we were going to replace some damaged decking on her roof free of charge as it was part of the contract ( ) sheet of 7/osb board , but she insisted on us replacing all decking on the roof which she did not need to do , we did make her aware of the up charge and she did tell us she would make arraignment's with her insurance to pay for it in which they didNow as far as vulgar language, not one time did any of my workers engage in any words with her other than to answer questions, and only because she would climb up to the roof everyday to ask questionsI also had words with her about climbing up the roof because it was dangerous and her response was that it was her roof and she wanted to see what was happening Now as far as clean up we did try to keep it clean, there was some winds which blew some trash around but we would go around collecting any trash that would fly into neighbors properties or her property we spoke to the neighbors on occasion when we would see them and never did they mention any concerns, as a matter of fact one neighbor let us borrow a saw from them cause ours broke on the job Now as far as my roofer pointing the nail gun at her I was not there so I can only state what was said to me by my worker ; so he told me their was a morning that she went up on the roof and was talking to them in a nice tone just asking random questions and one question was how a nail gun worked ? so my roofer pick up the gun to show her the head how to load it and she wanted to see him shoot a nail into her yard at which time he did, th he did not think anything of it , then she started to buy beer and drinks for them after work at which time I confronted her about it and told her I would appreciate it if she did not buy them beer, other drinks were fine but not alcoholI told my employees if I caught them drinking it was automatic terminationnow as for the tar around the vents we have to seal them against water so applying tar around them is done by all roofers you also put granules around them to make it look clean we were not trying to cover anything up now as far as the carports are concerned we did include those in the contract it was to replace just the roof panels nothing more, we removed the old panels that were ga and purchased a new panel gaI saved a piece of metal for the record to show how they are the same gauge it is true that they were making noise due to wind but since they are light weight panels that was going to happen I did offer a couple of options to resolve the issues one was to install another layer on top which would give it more weight free of charge noanother option was for us to weld some angle iron on the end to give it some support which we would had paid the welder she said no, yet another option was for us to remove the panels I could bring her a catalogue from Mueller's were she could get a heavier gauge steel but that she would have to pay the material and we would do the installation free of charge she said noSo in conclusion as you can see we tried to resolve the issues we passed the city inspection we tried to collect our balance she does not want to pay , so it lead me to take her to court in which I can back up all my work I am very sorry for what is happening to her mother we were well aware of the situation but it is her daughter that is making this happenAgain I am sorry and disappointed with the situation but their is nothing to resolve the issue.Sincerely; Ralph P***LEAD SALES ASSOCIATEORDUNEZ BUILDERS
