I've sold many items with this company (as a seller) and they really treat their sellers very poorlyIf a buyer files any claim (however unfounded) on an item you sold on the site, they hold your money and it is impossible to get in touch with the returns team to tell your side of the storyI once sold a Valentino bag, which had been purchased from a department store, and was sure it was authenticTradesy held it for weeks because the customer claimed it was not authentic, and Tradesy could not confirm that it was authenticObviously it is a matter of incompetence on the side of the company if they are unable to authenticate an item when they are a business that requires them to be able to do soThat time it took me weeks before it was resolved, and they did not even try to get my side of the story
More recently I sold a pair of shoes, and usually buyers have days to inspect the item and make a claim if something is wrong with the itemThis time I sold the shoes and days passed after delivery, and I was able to withdraw the money to my bank accountThen days later, they simply refunded the buyer and took the money from my account without even notifying me that there was a return in progress or getting my side of the storyThey simply took the money from another item I had soldIt is simply outrageous that they break their own policies and the agreement they have with the sellers that buyers have only days to make a return
I understand that a buyer may find something wrong with the item days later, but in that case, why doesn't Tradesy foot the bill? After all, they wouldn't exist but or their sellers, and yet they treat the sellers very poorlyIf the buyer is unhappybe fair to your sellers and sell the item on your own store (which Tradesy has) but don't take the money from the sellers after the agreement period has elapsedThey are abusive of sellers, and sellers should be aware of what they do before selling on that site

Sounds like a good idea but apparently there is no expectation of the sellers to update their inventory so I spent all this time shopping and out of orders were later cancelled by the seller with an email notification to meIt's not a good enough deal to compensate me for my time!

I have made a few sales on Tradsey and never had an issue only a positive experience, until nowI sold a Valentino bag on TradseyThe bag was in pristine condition, new with tags, not a single scratch of any kindI would never misrepresent an item nor would I not disclose itI too shop online and would never want someone to do that to me as a buyerThe lady who purchased my bag, did not want it, she had buyers remorse, I could tell when she purchased the bag, because she left it in the post office at first without picking it upThen I hear back from Tradsey, they refunded her the full amount because I did not disclose the damageSo this woman did not want credit, she wanted her money back so she deliberately messed up my bag so she could get her moneyEven without Tradsey contacting me first to ask me the condition of the bag, they sided with herSo here, as a seller, my merchandise was ruined and the valueThere is no protection for sellers? This is so unethicalThey will be sending me my bag back free of charge which is great, I can't wait to see what this woman did to my bagBeware if you sell on here, if you get this kind of buyer/scammer, you are goingto lose out

Purchase made on 9/7. 9/16 no proof of shipping and Lizbeth from "customer service" of no help only telling me to contact them tomorrow to ask for a refund "IF seller has not shipped yet". No explanation, nothing. Well of course she hasn't shipped. She doesn't have what she needs to ship! Seller tells me it's Tradesy's fault because she hasn't received a shipping kit from Tradesy. Unbelievable that this company is in business given the stellar operations of other e-commerce sites who have been doing this for a long time and value the confidence, trust and time of their patrons.

After selling a $8000 gorgeous designer gown I got it back 5 week later worn and damaged beyond repair. They charged back my credit card 1 month later after I already spent the money on a ring from them. The ring had a flaw that was not described in the listing and I am still waiting for a return label 1 month later.Customer service told me the buyer of the dress had the right to return because of a wrong size.I provided them with an email from the buyer confirming the size and detailed dimensions. They did not respond.
What a fraud!

I was on Tradesy for almost a year, during which I sold almost 50 items without incident. Then I shipped a dress to a seller. I received my earnings without incident. But 3 weeks later, I received an email from Melissa at Tradesy stating that the buyer had filed a misrepresentation claim. (According to Tradesy's website, the misrepresentation claim must be filed within 4 days and the seller will receive notice. I never heard anything prior to this time.) Melissa demanded that I deposit the funds in a paypal account to reimburse Tradesy. When I called the customer service number, Tradesy would not give me any information as to what the claim was about and said I could only get information by emailing Melissa. Tradesy said Melissa would contact me. She did not. After several emails, Melissa finally said the claim was that the dress had makeup stains. There were no such stains when the dress (which I had worn 2 hours and had dry cleaned before listing) was shipped. Clearly the buyer had tried it on and stained it. But Melissa did not care, and would not respond to the rest of my questions. She made clear that it did not matter what condition the dress was shipped in, and expected me to take back a now damaged dress (despite the fact it was relisted on Tradesy's website and listed as no longer available so apparently they had already sold it!). Long story short, I had to close my account despite a previously positive experience. Don't sell on this site because if a buyer wants to file a claim, they have no interest in the seller's position. Each email I received probably took 5 seconds to type and did not address any of my concerns. Zero customer service and fraud on sellers.

Email me if you know how I can press charges

THIS IS AFTER THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL THAT I OWE THEM MONEY. I HAVE 7 PIECES OF DOCUMENTATION FROM THEM AND-MY BANK RECORDS THAT I RECEIVED NO MONEY FROM THEM AND THEY ARE HOLDING MY GREAT GRANDMA'S WEDDING SET. THEY HAVE BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER AND SUSPENDED ACCOUNT. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO PRESS CHARGES AGAINST THEM?

First, I am attaching 3 emails from Tradesy clearly stating that I have received ZERO funds from Tradesy. Also, attached is the bank statement from the account number (it is on the document) that the funds would have gone into.
Second, as you can see in tracking and return request this buyer requested return PRIOR to receiving the rings. I paid extra for signature at delivery and her return request and your email were 4 hours before she signed for them.

Finally, I have notarized, photographed appraisals of these rings. They were shipped as exactly as I described and advertised. What
Is my guarantee that a buyer that already lied about having the rings prior to receipts, and then had them for 4 days before receiving your packaging, has not alterered or replaced muly great grandmother's wedding rings?

I NEVER RECEIVED A DIME FROM YOU. I AM SENDING A SCREEN SHOT OF ALL OF MY TRANSACTIONS TO THE ACCOUNT THAT YOU NEVER DEPOSITED MONEY INTO.

Send tracking info for both of my rings or I am filing charges immediately.

I would suggest buyers BEWARE! I purchased two watches, advertised as "Rolex" watches. When I received the watches the weight was very flimsy and light. Not a quality of a true Rolex watch! There was no certificate included in the package with serial numbers t o indicate real or designer replica. I am requesting a full physical appraisal of the watches, by an authorized expert. Also, is Tradesy, Inc. brand team members fully certified to authenticate luxury watches and jewels from Gemological Institute of America or an institue of their standards? If so, prove it! Send me the date of hire of such members and a copy of their certification. I paid $8,294 dollars for two watches. I returned them the next day. Requested a full refund. When I telephoned to inquire about my original form of payment credit. I
was told that I would receive a site credit! I do not want a site credit. They are stating that their brands team said the watches were authentic. I would receive a site credit! I do not believe the watches are authentic, I think they are fake and designer replicas. I am requesting a full refund, not a site CREDIT! Please make sure to do your homework prior to purchasing online from Tradesy.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Tradesy. App is very easy to use, customer service is great. I highly recommend Tradesy if you are looking to sell or buy designer products.

Thanks!!!!

Tradesy = Sellers Beware - Similar to other's I sold an authentic Tory Burch hat on this site. The Buyer received the hat and decided to return it because of "imperfections" in the hat. I should note that this was a brand new hat with tags!!! I had to contact Tradesy (after being without my merchandise for TWO Weeks) to find out the status of the item and/or when I could expect to receive the proceeds from my sale. This is when I was informed that the hat was returned and I had to wait another 5-7 days before I could get either my merchandise or credit for the item. The item was returned to me yesterday and my brand new hat was received back with dirt stains, imperfections, and it looked like someone worn the hat (some of the dirt could have been attributed to all of the handling of the hat). We I emailed to complain, first the customer service rep sent me an email about the wrong item! And then when I complained about the condition of the hate, I was told I could put it back on the site to re-sale or send it back to Tradesy for a full credit of the asking price!!! This would mean that I would have to ship the item out yet an (presumably on my dime!) Unbelievable customer service!!! If you are going to sale on this site, take lots of pictures, because it's you word against the buyer or better yet avoid this site all together a sell on [redacted] instead. I have sold numerous high-end items on ** and have never-ever experience this kind of treatment. Lesson learned... I'm closing down my site today and moving my items back to **. This is not a reputable site.
