Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  The wheel bearing was scheduled to be repaired BEFORE I even purchased the vehicle. I was told that it needed to be done and it would be done when I picked my vehicle up. so me calling them and pointing it out, 4 days later, was me bringing to their attention that the repair was not done in the first place. Tim even went back and looked on his parts shelf when I called him about it and said the bearing was there on the shelf and somehow got missed. he apologized over and over and said that he would make it right. The vehicle had bad tie rods, tie rod ends, brakes, calipers, and rotors. this is something that they should have noticed and addressed BEFORE the sale of the vehicle. For saftey reasons alone, you would think that they would make sure that these things were completed before allowing someone to purchase the vehicle. or at the least, disclose that the brakes, rotors, calipers, tie rods, and tie rod ends need to be replaced at a cost of about $1300.00. But they didnt. Had they disclosed this information, and been HONEST, I would not have bought the car. Period. So for them to say the vehicle was sold "AS IS" is pretty low on their part, because they didnt even inform me about the issue. Also, the front end allighment that was supposed to be done before I took delivery of the vehicle, was never done. there is no possible way that an allignment can be done on a vehicle that has tie rod and tie rod end issues. This car was sold to me in a dishonest manner. There were repairs that were hidden from me, and kept secret. and once the vechicle became undriveable, they took no responsibility for their dishonesty and referred me to my warranty provider who only covered $300 of the $1300 repair.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.these are out right lies, this is not how this occurred, the loans were presented by the salesman as being secured, the pay stubs were submitted at time of application, there were no discrepancies on this side. I have been in touch with the both of the lenders and they have informed me that the salesman was the one being deceptive to them in an attempt to secure the loan. I was told that the first loan was approved, then I was told the second lender was 100% approved. The car needed tires just so I could drive the car safely. After being assured that the second lender had approved the loan why would I not invest in tires. I am not satisfied with the response. They are not honest people.

Company responded by phone 7/28/16-[redacted]Mr. Tim who states that he purchased the car and paid off the consumer loan. He states that the consumer was in the office yesterday and purchased a new truck.

This business response was provided via email to AH at Revdex.com.[redacted], [redacted] came to our dealership to purchase a vehicle. He had not informed us of his child support. We as a courtesy tried to work around this issue on his pay stubs. We worked diligently on this with the lender to...

secure [redacted] a loan on this vehicle. The lender ultimately returned the contract due to the excessive amount that was on the paycheck stubs. We then attempted to work with another lender who was accepting of his child support but found other discrepancies on [redacted] work history that [redacted] did not inform us on. The lender again, returned contract.[redacted] was informed he would need a co-signer. He had us put in effort to get himself and his partner approved on another loan. A loan was granted with a "no-stipulation" call back. Meaning with the co-signer, he would not need to provide proof of income or residence to this lender. The loan was secured at a much lower interest rate. Saving [redacted] thousands of dollars. The warranty presented to [redacted] was optional. [redacted] was informed he would not have to take the warranty and was presented a separate set of payment options minus a warranty. [redacted] informed us he did not wish to use his partner as a co-signer, after having us secure the loan. We allowed [redacted] to return the vehicle with no fault. It is our dealership policy to charge the customer for the length of time they've driven our vehicle when a loan is not secured due to fault of the customer, not Tradewinds Motor Center.[redacted] chose to purchase a vehicle from another dealership. Tradewinds Motor Center at this point feels we are at a "wash" with what cost he acrued versus what we would have charged. [redacted] drove our vehicle for 2 weeks at no charge from Tradewinds Motor Center. Over the course of 2 weeks we spent countless hours trying to secure [redacted] the loan. [redacted] put miles on the vehicle that ultimately lower the vehicles value. These are charges we typically require when a contract is returned at fault of the customer. Our typical charge for providing non-accurate information that results in your loan being forfeited is a $250 charge plus $0.30 per mile and $50/day. [redacted] was not charged this amount. This is the standard we charge at any point a customer does not provide accurate information, takes up the time of our employees and drives our vehicle for an extended period of time. Again, we feel this matter is a "wash" on our end. We wish [redacted] the best in the future. Thank you,Andrew [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Yes indeed I was very upset about the whole situation and later I apologized. I did say that the car was junk and no I did not say I would pay when I feel like it. I think it is unfair for me to have to pay a repo fee. I was indeed behind$ 83.00 and was told I have a ten day grace period. My plans were to pay the 366.00 the next day when I got paid but when I went to look for my car it was gone. I did not say I would pay the 83.00 in a few days what I said was I will pay when I could so I thought everything was ok. Now im in a rutt where I have to pay 400$ that I dont curently have. I had told a employee at tradewinds that the car 2007 dodge caliber that I have at times the car goes 10-15 miles an hour. I was then told to bring the car in I stated that I couldnt
because the car just was going to slow he then stated that he would send a tow truck that didnt happen he said something happened with the mechanic.this happen twice. I finaly said ill drive it in but then I realized that im on the east side of cleve and they are far west so it was impossible so I have been dealing with a car that does not properly work. I contacted them within 30 days when I got the car and I dont have money to throw away. The electronic throttle control on this car is bad. Im not rich and I deserve a better car and I dont think its fair because I did make the company aware with both situations.
