Tradewinds RV Park Reviews (8)

First of all. any reference to AZ long-term RV stays is irrelevant, as the law only applies to "long-term (over 180 days). This is very specific in the law and certainly does not apply here, as this tenant just arrived. Our electrician. [redacted] Electric, checked every site along this line, which were...

all working properly until getting to the site in question. That was when it was determined that their electrical chord was causing the short. This is when their electrical box was locked, as they were causing problems for the other sites. When it comes to the spoilage of food, this is just a hoax. Every RV refrigerator is equipped with a propane option so, while travelling, food stays cold. Due to the electrical issues caused by this tenant, we had to spend about $1,800 fixing electrical issues caused by this tenant.e

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Attached is a letter from Morgan Electric explaining this whole situation, which backs up what I told you before.I hope this finally puts this issue to rest.I do not intend to answer any more correspondence on this matter through the Revdex.com.If she wants to take this another step, then she needs to take it to court, where she will wind up paying for my attorney, in addition to court costs, filing fees, etc.Thank you, Thomas E. I am writing to disagree about several statements made in response to case #[redacted]
The Trade Winds R.V. Park already had electrical issue's, so them claiming we were their problem is false.
I have spoken several times with [redacted] Electric, AL is the owner. His records show that they were called out to Trade Winds far before we arrived. They were working on the "New Line" however they used outdated materials in doing so. Also I will state again; The people next to us when we arrived were VERY surprised to find that when we plugged in we had electric. They had not had electric for 3 days at that point and were leaving early. The [redacted] Electric CO. has also stated that they ARE NOT  Licensed  R.V. electrician's/specialist's. When we asked to be allowed to move to a different area the manager's refused. There were MANY spaces open and they would not give us a reason for their denial. They (manager's) said we had to purchase a new shore cord, and that would solve the problem. So, in trying to comply and not make waves we spent $252.56 on said 50amp shore cord (NON-Refundable) item. Another of their claims were that the laws I mentioned were not for short term R.V. renting, this is untrue, 3 of the 5 are in fact for ANY and ALL types of R.V. park rental's. In the manager's statement she clearly admits to padlocking our electric post after only a few short days. This is a clear code violation, and is an unlawful act. The term states it to be an illegal "Ousting".  We have spoken with 3 different R.V. electrical specialist's, they have explained that in NO WAY could an R.V.'s electric issue's have ANY effect on a properly installed R.V. Hook Up's. Our R.V. is a 2004, 34ft., Keystone Challenger upgraded throughout. However, unfortunately we did choose to replace the refrigerator with a standard or plug in only one. We tried explaining this to the manager's and were met with rude remarks as their standard M.O. So, in FACT there could be NO HOAX as to food spoilage after they took our electric away on a Friday afternoon aprox. 3:45pm. We then had to search for "ANY" place to stay. Our 12yr old autistic son was in his 3rd day at his new school. In Golden Valley, AZ. there were only  2 other R.V. parks, one being 55 and older only, the other was clearly an unsavory place I could or would not subject our child to. After, we decided to stay on our property with only water available, the septic was waiting for the inspector to give the all clear, we still did not have electric. That is why we had chosen to stay at an R.V. park until we could get these things in place and apply for a temp. permit to live on it.  I wrote a letter to Tom A[redacted]  "OWNER" of the park; [redacted]. He signed restricted return receipt on; 5-4-15. We have yet to this date 8-31-15 not heard from him by 2 mailing addresses,  and 3 phone number's? As I mentioned on the phone with B.B.B.  we and many others still have not received any monies owed. I have spoken with and have the paper work to take this to small claims court. We were hoping not to have to go this route, but if this owner is as bad as the many small businesses say, I will take this step.
