Avoid doing business with Trading FinancialAfter an apparent restructuring sometime around 2014, they seem to be slightly more professional, maybe it was due to all the complaints, legal issues and litigation? Be warnedthey used to have a F ratingI had a car title loan with them and they repoed my vehicle in months without even sending me a notice of any kindI was told I had to months before my first payment was due and that I would be receiving a payment coupon booklet none came, so the payment I sent in on my own accord after the 2nd month went by (without a payment coupon) and wouldn't you know it, their office mysteriously (they claimed) burned to the ground and all records were lostEither way, they repoed my vehicle a few weeks later without even trying to get the first payment from meNo callsNo lettersNothingI was in communication after my Revdex.com complaint with about others in Cali with similar storiesSo we all started litigatingAfter months I was able to get a refinanced deal and my vehicle back, however, they stole everything out of itAll speakers, all CDs, Radar detector, all personal items, a GPS/Nav SystemEVERYTHINGAnd even worse, the vehicle never ran right after that eitherThey towed it incorrectly somehow (4xJeep) and all the steering was messed upI spent thousands fixing alignment and steering parts, axle issuesthe worksTrading Financial blamed everything on there tow company (which to no surprised when I went to sue them, had just closed their shop and "went out of business" but basically they just changed names and still work with Trading), And here I sit more than a year later dealing with them on questionable issues almost every monthEvery month I send a check and most months they claimed to not receive it until it was past the days over due, so no $$ go to principleThey also changed the pay off amountIn December they said I had $left (I had a day payoff lock in amount quoted over the phone)I paid two $payments and now this last week (mid Feb) my pay of is mysteriously $WHATTT!!! Avoid doing business with Trading Financial. After an apparent restructuring sometime around 2014, they seem to be slightly more professional, maybe it was due to all the complaints, legal issues and litigation? Be warnedthey used to have a F rating. I had a car title loan with them and they repoed my vehicle in 3 months without even sending me a notice of any kind. I was told I had 2 to 3 months before my first payment was due and that I would be receiving a payment coupon booklet none came, so the payment I sent in on my own accord after the 2nd month went by (without a payment coupon) and wouldn't you know it, their office mysteriously (they claimed) burned to the ground and all records were lost. Either way, they repoed my vehicle a few weeks later without even trying to get the first payment from me. No calls. No letters. Nothing. I was in communication after my Revdex.com complaint with about 10 others in Cali with similar stories. So we all started litigating. After 7 months I was able to get a refinanced deal and my vehicle back, however, they stole everything out of it. All speakers, all CDs, Radar detector, all personal items, a GPS/Nav SystemEVERYTHING. And even worse, the vehicle never ran right after that either. They towed it incorrectly somehow (4x4 Jeep) and all the steering was messed up. I spent thousands fixing alignment and steering parts, axle issuesthe works. Trading Financial blamed everything on there tow company (which to no surprised when I went to sue them, had just closed their shop and "went out of business" but basically they just changed names and still work with Trading), And here I sit more than a year later dealing with them on questionable issues almost every month. Every month I send a check and most months they claimed to not receive it until it was past the 10 days over due, so no $$ go to principle. They also changed the pay off amount. In December they said I had $1000 left (I had a 10 day payoff lock in amount quoted over the phone). I paid two $500 payments and now this last week (mid Feb) my pay of is mysteriously $2400. WHATTT!!! I asked several times to get a the pay off amount written in an email or letter (never came) I asked for accounting/payment schedule and they said they would send me one, but they never haveafter 4 requests just this last 60 days. Long story short, I just traded in my Jeep last weekend (Jeep is having great deals right now for trade ins) and I set Chrysler financial department on Tradingand to no surprise the pay off amount mysteriously changed... again. Poof! Trading Financial magic. Or fraud. You decide.
