Re: ID of *** TIARRA R *** (buyer) came to DIAMOND AUTO SALES (seller), was interested in the mentioned Chrysler Pacifica, at
that time seller told buyer that the car was not ready for sale and needed a driveshaft, buyer asked when will it be ready? Sellers’s response was in couple of days until I receive the partThe next day buyer called about the same car and seller’s response was negative, the third day she called and my response was it’s being fixed and I will call you when it’s ready which I did the same dayBuyer came and test drove the Pacifica and was very satisfied. Two days later after the final sale, buyer towed the car to the seller’s location stating that she heard as if something exploded and the car had a blown engineAfter that buyer demanded that seller fix the problem. After diagnosing the car the mechanic said that the blown engine was a result of negligence by driving the car long enough on blown Hose which lead to the loss of anti freeze fluid. Out of good intention Seller offered to repair the vehicle at a 50% seller/50% buyer and let us know what you decideBut buyer never contacted seller again. FINAL SALE TOOK PLACE ON “AS IS” BASIS.BUYER’S GUIDE WAS CLEAR , LEGAL AND CORRECT.VEHICLE WAS IN AN EXCELLENT RUNNING CONDITION BEFORE AND AFTER BUYER’S TEST. In the case of dealers fraud, the consumer shouldn't have to pay for any repairs. In my situation, I'd like repairs to be made, otherwise given a refund.
