Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The contractor is not responding to my complaint - he is only shedding light on the fact that he made two major mistakesAs he correctly pointed out, we were told that the overhang to the right of the sink would be less than on the leftHe claimed that this was because of issues with the wall on the left - in spite of the fact that the wall did not change during this entire processThat wall was in the exact same spot when he measured and made his templateHowever, the issue of the overhang being a different depth on either side of the sink is NOT the subject of this complaintBelieve me, I'm not happy about that issue, but I am willing to live with itThe bigger problem - and the subject of my complaint - is the fact that the overhang on the cabinet to the right of the sink is not parallel with the front of the cabinet!! This became glaringly obvious when the drawer for the cabinet was put back in place.If this contractor had taken the time to come back and look at the problem (like he said that he would do), then this wouldn't be so difficult to understand.Since my last correspondence, I have had a proffessional granite installer out to look at the problemHe immediatly noticed that the problem was caused by the seam being cut incorrectly.Regards,*** ***

imagineAre you kidding me? The message is: 'you didn't notice my scruntil after I left, and you were naive enough to pay me, so too bad for you, live with it'.As I clearly stated in my complaint, I contacted *** *** the same day - right after he left my houseMy instincts told me to stop payment on the check, but up until that point, Robert seemed like an honest person who would stand behind his work.To be fair, the rest of the counters did look goodIt wasn't until I re-installed the cabinet drawers that I noticed how crooked the one top wasI thought I was hiring a professional to do the job rightI did not pay to have it done mostly right

The work that was performed was approved by the home owner prior to them issuing a final payment. Both the homeowner and his wife said that everything looked ok and they they were happy.
