To whom it may concern,This is my response to letter of 7/28/20178/11/2017My sales people have been with me for over 5 years, if they lied ... they wouldnot be here.Anytime a trailer is modified it is a custom built trailer.The trailer was not built because we do not stock the trailer Mr. [redacted]bought, that's why it took 2 weeks to build it.Mr. [redacted] has his trailer and to my knowledge uses it all the time.The trailer has a 2 year warranty which is in effect.Hope this clears this up.Curt T[redacted]Trail Dust Trailers Inc.

I am rejecting this response because:. The salesperson did lie.  At no time were we advised this was a "special order" trailer.  We were advised the trailer was already built and they were only waiting  on the hydraulic pump to come in.  While we added the spreader gate we were not told this made it a "special order".  We were told it could come either way.  We are not the liars.  We purchased in good faith based on the lies we were told.  If we were told it would be ready in 2 or 3 weeks we would not have called in three days.  Noting ASAP does not mean anything.  Nor does it imply it agrees with your verbal commitment of delivery.The product we received has not been usable.  When it was picked up the tie down hooks and safety chains we're only partially done and had to be finished then. The next day the hydraulic pump broke off when it was used one time, and after a light sprinlke of rain the paint bubbled up and flaked off.  We had to return it and didn't have for another week.  The one day it was used the tire blew out due to inferior quality.  I had to buy a whole new tire, since calling the company I was told too bad they were closing and we had to bring it in before they closed.  Convenient since I was then stranded as well.  The so called a special order spreader gate was attached incorrectly and doors do not close completely.  In order to have a safe and usable trailer I am having to have it completely rebuilt.  Your  website states you have current inventory which indicates these are not special order trailers.  When in fact you do not have trailers available to purchase directly.  The so called special order trailer that will be delivered is inferior quality compared to the trailer on display.  You are not a company of integrity and you treat your customers extremely poorly, relying on the line that you don't give refunds,when in fact after receipt is when a customer finds out they get a poorly made product.  The trailer you delivered was not safe and I have multiple pictures to prove it.  I will have to completely rebuild it to be able to use it at all. We repeatedly asked for our money back since you failed to deliver the same quality product you advertise.  And the way I have been treated is pathetic.

advise all of our customers it willtake about 2 weeks to build a custom built trailer. As a manufacture, we rely ofsuppliers to provide parts, but sometimes the parts are not available, such as the casewith this trailer. We do not give a ftrm date of completion on any custom buildtrailer.Our sales people do not lie, we give as close as we can completion dates, but theyare only an estimate, and we worked our people over time to get him his trailer assoon as we could.In the complaint background it states he bought the trailer on 5/13/2017 and that theproblem occurred on 5/16/2017, 3 days latter, I do not believe any manufacture canbuild a custom built hyd. dump trailer in 3 days.We have bent over backwards to make him happy.Our company policy is to not buy back custom built trailers, as the trailer is built tohis request.Our sales order states " Deposits on custom ordered trailers are nonrefundable. I have received the complaint Revdex.com sent me on April 6, 2017.When [redacted] came into our facility we showed them a hitchsimilar hitch to the one we said we would install, as the one we had instock did not have the weight capacity they wanted.We ordered the hitch that would carry the weight they...

requested, andinstalled it. The installation required a hole to be cut into the bed of thetruck. This hole is the same size as the lighter duty hitch they looked atin our store.When they came back to pick up there truck, all was well, they exceptedthe job as satisfactory, and paid the bill.2 days later they came back and complained that they wanted a differenthitch. We told them that installing a different hitch would require adifferent hole in the bed of their truck, and that the hole that was cut toinstall the hitch they wanted would not be the same. They said that wasOK as they now wanted a different hitch, which cost more. They paidthe additional cost and again said it was ok to remove the first hitch andreinstall the second hitch even though the holes in the bed of the truckwould be different.Again they came and inspected the hitch and excepted the install andhitch as satisfactory.We did not charge them for installing the second hitch, they only paidthe additional parts cost.We feel we have did what the customer requested and provided themwith the hitch they wanted and paid for.The hitch has not failed and is installed according the manufacturesspecifications.
