I am rejecting this response because: Thanks to the response from them to the Revdex.com I now know what exactly is wrong with my motorcycle. I was never made aware it was waiting on my permission to continue fixing/ troubleshooting my bike. If this was all a preexisting issue, why did they allow me to pay for a fixed *working* machine when they knew there were more issues? This electrical issue was never brought to my attention in the first place. I brought the bike in for a valve adjustment, an issue they said would fix the Poorly running attitude it was giving. Then once materials started getting broken they told me the mechanic at the time was not qualified/ knowledgeable on the matter and was later fired. I have not had the machine in almost a year, how is it that all these issues were preexisting when I have not had it? They issues never started until they started their work on it. They are trying to charge me $2000 for work that may not fix it, and an issue they had caused. I have documented proof they were the only ones to touch, replace, work on these so called preexisting issues. On top of that, I have 2 different bills they had tried to charge me for, for the same issues. I do not feel as I should be held accountable for these charges because the issues had not arose prior to the initial "fix." I have been sitting on these "issues" for almost a year and they are hindering my ability to sell this bike which was what the original plan for fixing it to do. Now I have a bike that has more problems then it originally did and I am unable to sell it "as-is"

[redacted] brought his unit in for poor running condition, as the machine would not run on it’s own. It was determined the valves needed adjustment as a first step. While adjusting the valves an adjuster broke. We repaired this at our expense, even though it was determined later it was a result of...

preexisting valve damage. In an attempt to satisfy we [redacted] we, at our expense, performed a valve job on his unit to avoid any further confrontation. This repair at retail would be $2,400.00. After this was completed [redacted] picked his unit up, only paying for what would have been the original valve adjustment. He stated at that time, this is as good as it has ever run. A few days later [redacted] returned, stating the unit did not run properly and was stalling. After a no charge diagnostic, the unit appears to have electrical issues with the electronic fuel injection, and throttle bodies. [redacted] has not authorized repairs, nor has he picked his unit up. At this point, we would like [redacted] to authorize needed repairs or pick up his unit.

We, at this point, are unable to satisfy this customer. We are not trying to charge him for any work done to this point beyond what he has paid for. We will work on this unit for NC any longer. Since [redacted] owes us no money, we strongly suggest he take his unit elsewhere. We have communicated with him about the needed authorizations and what has to happen for any additional work. His current issues are not related to any previous work. We wish him well with his unit.
