Review: We called Trailer King to purchase a Utility Trailer. The Sales Rep. - ** represented that the Trailer that he had available was a BRAND NEW Mission Trailer for $2,700.00 plus tax. We purchased the Utility Trailer. Yesterday we received the registration only to find that the Trailer is listed as a 2013 not a 2014 Trailer. When calling ** at Trailer King he said he was sorry but considered the trailer new because it was not used. That is not what he represented at the time of purchase. He said is was brand new, and brand new to us means this year 2014. He never said the trailer was a 2013 trailer. He didn't understand why we were so concerned. So we said if we sold the trailer tomorrow we couldn't sell it as new 2014 plus the warranty on this trailer is only for five years so therefore are warranty is now shortened. We thought we were getting a new trailer. He said if we sold it tomorrow we could sell it for $2,500.00. He asked what we wanted him to do about it. We suggested a $250.00 refund on the purchase price and we will be satisfied. He suggested we return the trailer for a full refund and also stated that a 2014 would cost us $3,100.00. If he insists on us returning the trailer instead then they should replace the 2013 for a Brand New 2014 Trailer at the same price. The registration is already in our name. So basically they sold us a older trailer as a new trailer. He said he would call us back but has not.Desired Settlement: We would be willing to settle for the $250.00 refund on the purchase price as requested. If not a new 2014 trailer as a replacement at the same price they quoted us when we purchased the trailer of $2,700.00. Meaning an even exchange.
