Trailer Time Rentals Reviews (1)

To whom it may concern, [redacted] Is the owner of a C class RVThis RV has been a rental in our program since 2014, and was a rental in another rental program (Travelon RV) prior to us taking possession of the rental agencyAs the contact states, standard wear and tear is to be expected and especially on a unit which is years old and the owner is solely responsible for anything outside of standard maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation etc)Depreciation is expected out of a rental unit, just as we see in rental homes it is expected to have items that are worn, replaced and refurbishedThe items that [redacted] believes were in the unit I have NO record of (see contract)When a unit is brought into the rental fleet all items are noted on the contract, being that I picked the RV up from another company I would assume that the items were already removed as standard procedure as no items are to be left in the vehicle. The "damages" are considered standard wear.Blinds- Replaced (owner account not charged) The blinds deteriorate after time and were replaced prior to the return of the vehicle.Generator- The stator was rubbing and bearing collapsed, there are NO parts available to rebuild to generator so unfortunately it had to be replaced(owner account)Roof was not patched it was resealedThis is standard maintenance to an RV to eliminate potential damage.Dining room table was replaced because it was literally falling apart due to ageThe tables in the RVs are made out of compressed wood and laminate(owner account not charged)Vents- Replaced because the cracked due to age and heat (owner not charged)Leveling box was never removed, besides to repair and then was remounted in same spotSame screw holes were used.Engine was serviced the day of return to owner-see invoice attachedI was told that the check engine light was an osensor which fails over time but was not of concernI have never been told that the engine needed to be rebuiltIf it does this would obviously fall outside of the responsibility of Trailer time as this would be considered a catastrophic event which the owner would be responsible forThe last invoice had the motorhome only rented for days, as the vacation prior to last trip had to be cancelled because the generator was no longer working and had to be replacedThe amount of $was due, with the generator replacement of $2300, there was still a balance due to trailer time of $Prior to the return of the vehicle I had the compounded and waxed on the exterior, carpets cleaned, blinds replaced, roof resealed, oil changed and I also had an interior specialist go through the inside of the RV and refurbishI took care of the unit while it was in my condition, I have gone above and beyond by replacing the generatorPer my contract I could have given her back the RV with a blown generator and left it for her to replace but I did what I felt was right in this situation, I went above and beyond my contractual agreement.Thank you,Brittney Straiton ###-###-#### [redacted] ***
